Water and Wood Properties welcome you to The Cottage! Beautiful and spacious 4 bedroom / 3 bath home with screened porch and private pier. Quiet neighborhood and stunning sunset views!

When you enter, you are surrounded by relaxing accommodations with a soothing color palette, designer touches and original art throughout the home. As you enter the home, you will find there is a wide open living room and kitchen area where family can stay connected while visiting and sharing family meals. The kitchen features granite countertops, a large refrigerator, electric stove, oven, microwave, toaster, air fryer, blender and a combo Keurig coffeemaker with Kcups, coffee grounds, creamers and sugars plus a tea selection. The kitchen also features additional bar seating for four.

The living room is adjacent to the kitchen featuring comfortable furniture, large sliding glass doors, designer touches, and a large flat screen mounted TV and swinging chair to sit and enjoy the birds or read your favorite book. Next to the living and kitchen is a dining area that comfortably seats 6

All bedrooms include hotel quality beds, mattresses and luxury linens. The Cottage boaster two Primary bedrooms. One with a King size bed, luxury linens and private bath with shower. The other Primary bedroom, facing the bay has a queen size bed, and private bath with tub/shower combo. The other 2 bedrooms have Queen size beds, sharing a bath with glass walled shower. All bathrooms have luxury towels and hotel soaps and shampoo/conditioner.

If you enjoy fishing and crabbing, you are welcome to bring your fishing tackle and try your casting skills at some of the best fishing in Mobile Bay! Crab traps provided!

There's also a swim ladder provided.

My friends & I (7 of us) stayed at this lovely home in Fairhope. The place was exactly as advertised, if not even better. There were so many thoughtful touches. The view was gorgeous. Tina was great & gave us all the information we needed. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to vacation in this area.

The property was beautifully decorated with just the right amount of detail. The fresh flowers were appreciated. House was equipped with all we needed - plus. All 5 of us enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch in the cool morning breeze. We were greeted by a flock of seagulls lining the pier! It was amazing! They were only on our pier! Would definitely stay again! Thanks for sharing this beautiful property!

Everything was wonderful. It was exactly as described. The views were amazing. We definitely used the screened in porch. The WiFi was messing up but they took care of it very fast. I would recommend more seating like another couch maybe. We had seven and one had to sit in the dinning room chair. Would definitely recommend!

Splendid Weekend (Nov 13-16)

Our stay was lovely. The cottage is such a relaxing property - with spectacular views. We applauded the little extras (lagnaippe) throughout, including the nice welcome card and gifts. Thank you for that! The coffee pods (including the variety of flavors) were a big hit too. It was clear that we were 'borrowing' someone's home for a few days, rather than staying in a very sanitized, impersonal rental property. I can't think of any constructive suggestions - except perhaps some instructions to get to local stations on the main TV (e.g., ABC). We hope you'll find that we treated your house with kindness. Great Family Time

We enjoyed the cottage so much. It was close to the great restaurants in Fairhope. The kids loved fishing off the dock & I enjoyed swinging on the screen porch. We made a trip to Orange Beach for a boat day and to Foley for shopping. Both were less than an hour drive. We like the area better than Orange Beach because it’s so quiet & secluded. We will be back often. Our oldest daughter is moving to the area for work.

Great get-away for family

The property was just as posted in pictures online, very clean and comfortable for our group of six. Perfect for relaxing with the most beautiful sunsets. Kitchen was large and well stocked with everything we needed. Bedrooms were lovely and so comfortable. Located in a nice quiet area close to Fairhope with great restaurants and shopping. Would definitely like to visit there again.

Great house and wonderful host

We stayed here during a wedding anniversary celebration for my parents. The house is clean and has all the creature comforts. There were some wonderful sunsets on the screened porch!

Beautiful house and property

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The beds were very comfortable with nice clean linens. The dock and porch were great and we appreciated all the little extra touches around the house like coffee and aluminum foil! The kids really enjoyed crabbing and fishing.
