Villa Verde Vacation

Our group of nine stayed at Villa Verde for nine nights in late January and we had a wonderful time. The location is great, and the house itself was very nice. We loved the layout and design, but also the way it was decorated. The private pool was also lovely, and the view from the house is simply incredible. There were lots of other great things too, like the outdoor grill, and jacuzzi tub. If I had to nitpick, I would say a few of the fixtures are showing a little wear (dishwasher wasn't overly effective, for example), but overall. we all really liked the home and its amenities. I would also like to mention that Zindis, the property managers were excellent with us during our stay. There was a problem with the beds in one of the rooms (I won't go into detail), but Milena (the House Manager) and others behind the scenes at Zindis were very quick to respond (on their day off, no less) and resolved the matter to our complete satisfaction. All in a friendly and attentive manner, as well. The property owner also called me personally to ensure I was satisfied, which I appreciated. All in all, our whole group (nine extended family members) had a great time at Villa Verde. We used the pool a lot, as well as the outdoor grill, and the kitchen, of course. The location at Playa Hermosa is really good. Hermosa is a beautiful beach, with good beachfront restaurants. So is nearby Playa Panama, and Coco is a short drive away for groceries and other supplies. We would definitely return to Villa Verde in the future, and I can happily recommend both the home and its owners, as well as Zindis Group, to prospective guests/clinets.. Thank you.

Wonderful vacation

This house is exactly the way it looks in the pictures, but the view is even better. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I gave it a four star review because we had several small issues. We had 2 doors that did not lock correctly and they did come the following day to fix, but the doors were very hard to open. The bigger issue was that the water was sometimes warm and sometimes cold. It was rarely hot. Showers were awful due to the water temperature and there was very little water pressure. We stayed at a different house in the same neighborhood a few years back and had hot water, but there water pressure was not great either. We called about the hot water issue and they came and "fixed it," but there was no change. If we had had hot water, it would have been perfect! Again, the view was worth it!

Beach Paradise

The property was very well maintained and the staff was friendly and professional. Check-in was efficient and instructions were well communicated. This house was wonderful and the view was spectacular. Community was safe and just a few minutes from the beach. We would definitely recommend this home.

The best stay ever!

If I could put my stay in one word it would be, "Spectacular!" The views, the home, the pool, the service was all first class. I enjoyed every day of my stay. If I could have moved in I would have. Ian was an excellent concierge and the private chefs were supurb recommendations. If I could rate this place higher than stars I would. Just one note: Bring bug spray and spray your sheets let it air out and you will have no trouble from the insects.

Villa Verde Escape

Overall this villa is wonderful! The view alone makes it worth coming here and I miss it already. Milena, the house manager, was very helpful (especially with the delay we had in arriving) and when we had issues with the key fob to the gate (Emiliano fixed it for us). The beach is close - only a few minutes away in Play Hermosa and other beaches are close by as well. There are a few minor things that need to be fixed (and thus the 4-star rating): the dishwasher which doesn't work, the outdoor grill since it only has one working burner, spraying again for wasps and the backdoor lock as it isn't functioning properly. That said, these items didn't impact our stay to a large extent and we still had a great stay at this villa.

Perfect house! Beautiful views! Loved everything about it!!

The house is beautiful, spacious and clean. The view from the patio and pool is amazing. We loved the outdoor kitchen and hot tub. Beds were large and comfortable. Great location, close to Playa Hermosa. Beach was about 1 mile away. Edgar, the property manager, was friendly, helpful and responsive. Josh, the concierge, was also very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The gardener was also very friendly and did a great job maintaining the pool and landscaping. This area was nice and quiet. We were glad we had rented a car to drive to the larger supermarket in Playa Coco. We enjoyed a trip to Diamante Eco Adventure Park - the Superman zip line was so much fun! We also took a trip to Rincon de la Vieja, for hiking, swimming in a waterfall and hot springs. On our last night we took a wonderful private sunset sail with Seabird Sailing Excursions. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at La Casita del Marisco on the beach. Aquasport Bar and Restaurant (also right on the beach) had great cocktails, food and live music in the evening. We would highly recommend this property and region of Costa Rica and can't wait to come back!

The best!

The whole family stayed here. Ten of us... from 2 years to 62. We all loved the house. Beautiful!!! We found great food and beaches close. Rented a van and drove everywhere..such fun

Beautiful House with Great Views

We enjoyed the outstanding views and were very comfortable at Villa Verde. The property is well maintained and the staff is great. We were able to enjoy a great family vacation with 9 people in the spacious house. We had a few minor issues checking in and with some insects but overall we had a great experience and would recommend this property to anyone.

Awesome views and Awesome property manager

This is awesome property with expansive views of ocean. The property and views are so good that one might just think of relaxing at the property than go anywhere. The rooms are reasonably big and family room is very big and can accommodate big family. We were total 14 people including one baby and one kid of 10 years. This place is just 20 minutes away from LIR airport and grocery stores are easily accessible at Coco Beach. Arsenal is just 3 hours away and so is Mount Verde.

Absolutely Perfect!

Incredibly gorgeous house in the perfect location. It's hard to believe, but the house is actually MORE stunning in person than the pictures depict. The house is in the perfect location - only 3 or 4 minutes from Playa Hermosa and about 10 minutes from Playa Coco. The house has so many amenities that it was actually hard to justify ever leaving. The view from the infinity pool and hot tub were perfect and the outdoor kitchen, dining areas and patio were immaculately maintained.

There were only a few minor details - the kitchen needs some serving platters and bowls, updated pans and a can opener that works, The living room needs a larger television set. The house was georgous and we enjoyed our stay. There are many things around the area to do. The bedding was great, Gus and Tim were excellent as well as the maid service. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. We definitely will be back.

'Villa Verde'

What a beautiful home! The home was luxurious, comfortable and had all the amentias we needed. It was very clean and well-maintained. Everyone we encountered, the concierge, pool man, maids, was all friendly and helpful. We loved the location. Very close to the beach and high enough to have a lovely breeze (and view!). In addition to the beaches, we were close to canopy tours, rafting and other activities. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again if we are lucky enough to get to return to Costa Rica!

The bar is set high!

We just returned from a week at Villa Verde. My kids are still talking about it! The home is truly a slice of paradise. The set up of the house is perfect to accomodate a large family or a group of adults. What sets this villa apart from others I have rented is the service provided by Beachfront. Beachfront provides a maid every day who takes care of the house and does your laundry! She even offered to cook a "Tico breakfast" and Civiche. David is the concierge of the house, a Beachfront employee, and is a wealth of knowlege for any trips or adventures you may want to do. The pool was cleaned every day as well. These services are an indication that they have thought of everything! I would recommend this home, or any other Beachfront property, to anyone. They provide outstanding service with a beautiful home that will provide a relaxing vacation to the entire family!

Beautiful Villa Verde

We spent a wonderful week at Villa Verde in Monte Paraiso in Playa Hermosa. We highly recommend this magnificient house for those wishing to enjoy a breathtaking view with infinity pool and sumptious accommodations. The rooms are beautiful and the staff was both warm and helpful. The outdoor grill with seating is really a plus for those who want to kick back and cook up some local fish and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, we were connected by the resident concierge with a teriffic tour guide, Bernal, who went out of his way to provide our enjoyment of Costa Rica via various tours. Our thanks to all those at, and connected to, Villa Verde for sweating the details and providing us with all the ingredients for a wonderful stay.

This house is exquisite... The pictures just dont do it enough justice. I dont believe the view from the back of the house would ever get boring. If you are looking for a place to take the family or to rendezvous with friends this is the perfect house. The kitchen and appliances are all first class. The outdoor cabana bar is absolutely perfect. With just a short ride to the beach, I would take the view all day long over being located on the beach. You won't be disappointed!!!
