The property was better than we could’ve imagined. The beautiful expansive property and creek were great. Even with 11 people, the house was big enough to where we were not on top of each other.

Lovely place. Easy walking distance to town for a great latte. Right on a floatable creek and large enough for our ever expanding family. Random thing I appreciated was the perfect stair case to the second floor. Easy slope, wide and low rising treads. Had 80 year old and 17 month familyMembers with us and they negotiated them well

Just what we dreamed of

We wanted somewhere for us to have a small wedding and have our 4 grown children to all come together and stay with us and make some memories. This beautiful house was everything we dreamed it would be! We all had everything we needed and enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Family fun at Spring Creek Farms

We had a delightful stay for a family reunion. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, large well appointed kitchen. The ping pong table was a hit with the kids, as was the blue berry bushes and bubbling Spring creek at the edge of the property. Grand kids loved exploring it all! Truly a beautiful location, well manicured estate, definitely will return again!

We used this facility to house a large field crew working on national forest lands. It worked perfectly for that purpose. The house was clean, well furnished, and very comfortable after a long day of work.

Charming Farm House, Close to Town

This is one of my favorite VRBO's I've stayed at. Excellent property managers, who we very responsive and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The charming home, the beautiful yard, the calming creek, and the cleanliness were exceptional. Small details like the "branded" toiletries were the icing on the cake. Will stay here again!

Team outing

We brought out staff to stay and enjoy your place. We also white water raft with the team at NOC. The house is amazing and the committee is as well.

Beyond Charming

The Spring Creek Farmhouse is a beautiful home that is both spacious and homey! The property is filled with flowering trees and the sound of the creek permeates the entire setting! Time spent at the farmhouse is restorative! We had ten there off and on during our weeks stay and we all enjoyed it immensely.

Thanksgiving done right!

This farmhouse wa an excellent choice for our party of 12! We loved this place! Had enough kitchenware for the whole gang. Its location next to the river was beautiful! Loved the brick outside back for a cozy fire the first night. Bedrooms were spacious for all of our belongings. Would love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy all outdoor activities. Thank you so much to the owners— it was so cozy.

Simply Amazing

We spent an incredible Christmas with combined families at this gorgeous house. It felt like we were staying in the set of a Hallmark movie. Plenty of space for our group to spread out, thoughtful touches (REAL Christmas wreaths on the windows!) and those beds… reminded me of a Hilton Hotel. Don’t miss this one.

Hot Springs Weekend

Four couples spent a wonderful weekend in this beautiful historic home. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast, grill for dinner, and had plenty of wide open spaces to explore. The deck over the creek was wonderful. Bring some bug spray as they seem to like the creek. We took a raft trip on the French Broad River with Blue Heron Whitewater and had a soak in the mineral water at Hot Springs Resort and Spa. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back for a visit.

Spring Wedding Weekend

What a perfect location for a family gathering! We had plenty of rooms for everyone to spread out in and plenty of room at the table for family meals. The hot tub was perfect for the chilly spring weekend. We enjoyed attending a wedding at Broadwing Farm, whitewater rafting with Blue Heron, local beer and music at Big Pillow, and hiking the AT on the sidewalk of town (and a bit up the trail along the French Broad too). Your house and grounds are wonderful! We hope to come back again!

Great long weekend with friends

Beautiful historic home on an amazing property by the creek. Very close and convenient to Hot Springs and All the nearby activities. We were hoping for more beds based on the listing, but missed in the fine print that that needs to be requested in advance. There are only five bedrooms here until they open the third floor, which was not open as of my last communication with the owner.

Hot Springs Getaway

We were in town for a family friend's wedding and just had a wonderful time at the farmhouse! The house is just wonderful with amazing grounds, front porch to relax on, Spring Creek bubbling in the background, fire pit in the back with hot tub, platform deck overlooking the creek. We did it all! Inside the house, all of the bedrooms are large and spacious. Plenty of bathrooms and showers. Large kitchen and dining area to enjoy hanging out in. Easy walk into town and on to the Appalachian Trail. If you want to go to the mountains and get away, this is it! Why are we not still there!!

Perfect Mountain Getaway for Our Big Family!Our family takes an annual fall mountain trip every year, and we all agreed that this was by far our favorite house we have ever stayed in. It accommodated our group of 15 perfectly — with room to spare! The kids were absolutely obsessed with the upstairs loft and were fascinated by the old phone on the wall — something they had never seen before. They also spent hours exploring the beautiful creek and the big rock outside. Meanwhile, the adults couldn’t stop talking about how well we slept on the extremely comfortable beds, how much space we had throughout the home, and how ideal the kitchen set-up was for hosting Thanksgiving. Between the gorgeous kitchen, large pantry, two refrigerators, AND a freezer, we had plenty of room for all the food and prep we needed.The whole home felt spacious, warm, and welcoming — the kind of place that immediately puts you at ease. Outside, we loved gathering around the fire pit, soaking in the hot tub, and taking in the absolutely amazing mountain views. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the rich sense of history woven into the home — from the walls and doors to the windows, porch, and overall architecture. We found ourselves wishing we could hear the stories these walls could tell. We fell in love with the nearby town and were captivated by the friendly people and their stories of rebuilding after Hurricane Helene. We would highly recommend this place. It was amazing!

THE place to be in Hot Springs

The Spring Creek Farmhouse is ideal. The HUGE wrap-around porch makes it so hard to leave. The mountain view, landscaping and the soothing sound of the rippling creek are calming, peaceful and intoxicating. The house has SO much space. The beds are very comfortable; you will find yourself sleeping late daily. The water pressure is good and there is plenty of hot water for a full house. We hosted our wedding at the farmhouse and it was amazing. We spent the night before with guests in the hot tub and enjoying the patio and porch. The ceremony was in the yard with the mountain view as a backdrop. We setup the intimate reception on the HUGE wraparound porch. The June weather was perfect on our special day. Even when it rained the following day, the wrap-around porch allowed us to be outdoors enjoying the space. The big bedrooms and bathrooms gave everyone room to relax and take care of their needs. The big kitchen with commercial appliances allowed cooking and storing foods and beverages to be effortless. I highly recommend the Spring Creek Farmhouse. Your hosts will ensure your stay is perfect. I suggest you book now.
