By booking this property you hereby agree to the house rules:
• No parties or events
• Maximum 12 guests total (including infants). Exceeding limit = cancellation without refund.
• No pets
• No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property (security deposit will be forfeited)
• Quiet hours 9pm–8am (local township ordinance)
• All outdoor socializing must move indoors by 9pm
• No music outdoors (township requirement)
• Guests are expected to be respectful of the residential neighbors. Any noise complaints made by neighbors or any report of parties being thrown at the house will result in reimbursement for damages, additional cleaning fees and immediate eviction without a refund.
• Exterior security cameras and noise monitoring devices are active for safety and compliance
• Signed rental agreement + matching ID required within 24 hours of booking
• $500 security hold placed prior to arrival
• Tampering with cameras or sensors results in immediate cancellation. Guest acknowledges security cameras located on the exterior of the property facing driveway are on and recording outside only audio/video when motion detected, cease when motion ends.
• Check in after 4:00 PM. Check out by 10:00 AM ($50 per hour past check out time)
• Pool is only for the occupants of this home. If your group is renting multiple homes in the area, it is not allowed to all gather on this home premises.

Exactly what vacation should be

This was a perfect house and perfect hosts. Actually felt like vacation. Every amenity you could want. Clean, though out, stocked, new, the list goes on. It was a great trip for our family with young kids and our parents, covering all age groups.

We had the perfect girls weekend. The house was cozy, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Luxury Get Away for Book Club

My book club rented out the Chillin Away vacation home near South Haven MI for a fall girls' getaway. We were so pleasantly surprised by how lovely the home was. It is clean and well-kept, and is decorated with a modern, clean look. Everyone on our trip commented on how comfortable the beds were, and we were amazed at how well appointed the kitchen was. We had everything we needed to cook and serve meals. We really enjoyed the extra care put into making our visit memorable - there were even complimentary s'mores ingredients, coffee and tea, and even a SnoCone machine and ingredients (which we didn't use, but would be great for a summer visit with kids). We also appreciated the owner checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I would not hesitate to recommend this house, and hope to rent it again myself in the future.

We loved this property. The house was beautiful and had everything you could want. The pool and hottub were our favorite parts. The grandchildren loved making cotton candy, ice cones and s'mores by the fire. It was so quiet and peaceful and we loved watching the deer everyday

Relaxing Family Vacation Home

We had a wonderful time at this property. Our kids loved the pool, the firepit, and the game room in the basement. The furnishings throughout the home are top notch. My mom loved cooking for her grandchildren in the designer kitchen. It’s an easy drive to the beach, great shopping, and nice restaurants. Great spot for your next vacation!!

The perfect place for the girls!

We had 11 girls and this place was AMAZING! From the beautiful drive back to the house, the curb appeal, the walk into the front door, the pool, backyard and hot tub! Everything was so much more than we were expecting! The place was so clean and well cared for! We had everything we needed for our weekend and so much more! The hosts are amazing to communicate with and responded to my questions so quickly! Book this place! You won’t regret it!

Perfect Getaway Weekend

Can't say enough about the wonderful experience at Chillin Away. The house itself was not only gorgeous but everything was so well thought out, from the design of the home to the smallest of details (i.e. s'mores pack set up for you in case you wanted to do a fire). And the host was incredibly thoughtful, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 recommend, would book again!

A Beautifully Curated Space

The home, interior design, and details were the best I've experienced! So often rental properties are somewhat cheaply curated, though you may not notice through pictures alone. This space was the complete opposite - it was truly a couple days in luxury. Everything was modern, CLEAN, and well-functioning. I would happily stay there again and again!

The perfect weekend!

Ana was so easy to communicate with. I’ve never rented a house that has had everything you needed (and more!) Crockpots, 9x13s, coffee pot, pool toys, shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels, etc. The house was beautiful and was well kept. Will definitely be saving this for the future!

Best vacation rental we’ve stayed in

The house at south haven was immaculately clean, beautifully styled, and well equipped to serve our family with games, towels, blankets, and a well stocked kitchen. The coffee buffs loved the coffee bar and the pool was perfect for a warm summer day. The high tech locks and speakers made for a smooth experience and there was more space than we needed. Downstairs basement stays cool even on hot summer days which is perfect for post beach day naps. Beer and wine fridge was perfect for our family gathering. Thank you for everything!!!!

Perfect for our extended family!

As a family of 6 adults and 3 little ones, ages 3, 2, & 1, we just couldn't have picked a better place to stay in South Haven! The house is immaculate and the bedrooms are spread out enough that our toddlers could go to bed early and not be woken by other activity in the house. The house is in a country setting, so we often enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning, while watching deer graze near the tree line! The owners have literally thought of everything, including a pack n play and a high chair! We absolutely loved the beautiful pool and the many games provided in the basement. They have so many fun touches such as a cotton candy machine, a snow cone machine, and a popcorn maker! We had everything we could have possibly needed to relax and just enjoy quality time with our children & grandchildren. We can't wait to return!

Chillin Away'

What a beautiful property. We felt welcomed from the minute we made our reservation, and communication throughout our stay with the hosts was impressive. Information was readily available and the home was incredibly well stocked. We were a group of all adults, but we felt that kids would be totally welcomed with all the fun extras geared towards them. The cleanliness of the home was superb. The kitchen, bedrooms and baths were amazing, and we especially appreciated double sinks in the bathrooms. Though the pool wasn’t opened yet, it looked inviting as did the hot tub, but we were so busy all weekend, we forgot to use it. The fire pit was a bonus! It’s definitely a home I’d love to vacation in again. We’d need to stay a week to make use of all the fun things the house has to offer and highly recommend this home for an enjoyable vacation.
