Beautiful House On Grass Runway With Fly-In/Fly-Out Access

Located a few miles from downtown Tecumseh, MI, the house is located on 10 acres of land, including a wooded area with walking trails. It is also part of the Merillat Airport (34G) community, a grass runway. Perfect for fly-in/fly-out guests, or if you just want to sit on the back balcony or by the fire pit and watch planes take off and land. The house is also 25 miles away from Ann Arbor and University of Michigan and 20 miles from MIS. It is also only minutes away from both Tecumseh and Adrian, both with beautiful shops and great restaurants! It is also a central location for many wedding venues and golf courses as well.

Minimum night stay is set to two nights. If you would like to request a one-night stay, please send me a message and I will approve based on your request. Thanks!

Lisa has been a professional photographer for 14 years. She specializes in Family, Children, HS Seniors and Pet Portraits. We are looking forward to creating beautiful artwork and/or albums of your family or event.

Portrait sitting fee - $175
Group event - $350/hr with 2 hr min.

It was perfect for our holiday. There was plenty of room and everyone enjoyed watching the snow from the kitchen. I would stay here again. Also the bed was VERY comfortable!

Taylor was always prompt in our communications and quite cordial. The home was perfect for our family's annual New Year's gathering - plenty of space to spread out! Our whole family thought it was quite a "find"!

Family getaway

Check in was smooth. Owner was very responsive. Conveniently located with lots of entertainment options. Kitchen was well stocked and deck was a pleasant surprise we spent a lot of time out there. We had the opportunity to see some planes flying up close. Unique house with lots of character.

Stayed for 4 nights for a wedding at a venue 1/2 mile away. Plenty of room for family to stay overnight in 1 of the 5 bedrooms. They deck and yard were great spaces to spread out. The house was clean with comfortable furniture. Host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly.

The airport community is very friendly and kind and it is VERY peaceful at night with a fire in the fire pit or just watching the stars and fireflies on a summer night. In the winter, it's relaxing to watch from the kitchen table the snow falling in the backyard.

The town of Tecumseh has many unique shops and there are great bars and restaurants as well. The Michigan International Speedway is 20 minutes away, Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan, including the stadium, is 25 minutes away.
