Waterfront Lake Cabin with covered dock with boat slip, electric & lights! Great dock fishing & swimming!! Cabin is on large lot with gentle slope to water with amazing sunset views and surrounded by beautiful woods that add privacy. Find peace with abounding nature and beauty! Fall time is great for sitting around the camp fire after a day of fishing!

Kids and pets love it here with plenty of space to run and enjoy and plenty of space for parking cars and trailers and there is a RV outlet. RV's, Pets and Kids welcome!

This is a ladder loft style cabin with a queen size bed in main room and two full size mattresses in the loft area. Loft area has it's own TV and DVD player.

You will love Buck Creek Cabin! Make it your "go to" place whenever you just have to get away!

Located in Fort Gaines Georgia on 85 mile long lake that is on the Georgia/Alabama border with 640 miles of shoreline! Walter F. George Lake/Lake Eufuala that is known for its great fishing and nature life.

Just 3 hours from Atlanta and 2 from Tallahassee! If want to experience nature at it's best, and let the pets and kids run free - you will find what you are looking for at Buck Creek Cabin.

There is one full bathroom and a outdoor hot water shower!! There is a kitchen with all kitchenware - Refrigerator/freezer, microwave, burner, crockpot, frypan, NO oven. Gas, electric and a charcoal grill on porch.

Fishing trip with my father and my 8yr old son. The property is awesome! No nosey neighbors, the property owner doesn’t live there or next door. Beautiful, peaceful, and private. We brought a boat. Great covered dock with nice lights for night fishing and power to charge batteries. Also, the dock doesn’t have an owners boat in it or a lift that you are not allowed to use. Hard to find! There are no steps to access the dock, a plus. The house is a cabin and accurately listed. Well built, nice, accommodating, comfortable. Perfect for the 3 of us. We used the propane grill every night to cook dinner. The place has everything that we needed. Apple GPS took me right to it. Drop your boat at Pataula Creek, on 39, 5-10 minutes down the road, with a short ride by boat to the dock. I hope that I will be back.

This was our second stay at Buck Creek Cabin and it was absolutely just as amazing as the first. We stayed a week and we can’t wait for our next trip. If you want away from everything and just want to relax and fish this is the place to stay!! Very private setting. The owner is also very quick to answer any questions. If I were to give 5 stars it would be 5 times that!! The sunsets are PERFECT for those special moments!!!!

Nice quiet retreat for a couple who enjoy the lake life.

Perfect opportunity for a couple who want to go to the lake country. Can even tie up your boat at the property. Close enough to enjoy Eufaula and Providence Canyon. Within two hours of places like Little White House, Warm Springs, Andersonville, Plains and Callaway Gardens. Kolomoki Mounds State Park is about 30 minutes away.

Perfection

This simple cabin has all the necessities that you need for a stay at the lake. This is our second time. Very clean and very fast communication. We put our boat in at Pautaula Creek and left it in the water for our stay. Nice covered boat slip and dock. Enjoy the lake right from the back yard!

Perfect weekend getaway!

We loved our stay at Buck Creek. It was the perfect little get away for our family of 3. The pictures accurately portray the property. My three year old loved being able to wake up and go fishing. We caught some catfish and saw a few gators. There was enough privacy that our dogs were able be off leash without any worries. Barbie always responded quickly (within a few mins) and was so kind.

4 night stay

Initially it was hard to find this place so I would say to read directions carefully. Once we found it I would say it was fine from there. If you like to fish from the dock it is a very nice covered dock. Kids like the loft but not a climb for me. On a side note for dining try Michelle's buffet and El Jalisco Mexican for value, service and food. At night when you settle down to watch TV the channels are very limited but I guess your there to get away from that sort of thing. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect getaway

Nice little cabin was perfect for my husband myself and 3 grandkids. The kids love the loft area and swimming off the boat dock. We enjoyed our short getaway and will visit again soon.

Secluded and Cozy

My husband and I went and took our 2 chihuahuas and had the best time! The cabin get away was so nice we didn’t even bother to take our boat out. We fished right off the private dock and had a blast. We caught bass, bluegill, and catfish. We have already scheduled another vacation here. The owner answered all questions we might have had promptly.

Great Cabin and Very Clean

Everything you will need is provided..like utensils, plates, soap. and yes even some condiments! Plenty of coffee and a nice welcoming bowl with chips and crackers on the table. Great boat dock with power and lights. Owner is very responsive to any questions. This was my second stay at this cabin for a Bass Tournament on Lake Eufaula.

Beautiful waterfront sunsets

Great waterfront cabin with very "Friendly " gator neighbors. This was an awesome 41st anniversary getaway for us and we loved every minute of it,except for having boat troubles. A little bit difficult to locate the first time but the first sunset will quickly let you forget about that.

Barbie (owner) designed the cabin after finding the lot during a week-end trip to the area . She and her family built the cabin - - The mounted deer head on the wall is her son's first - - and he was a young teenager at the time and helped with the building work - as well as his father and both of his grandfathers, one came down all the way from Wisconsin to help! She lived in Tallahassee Florida at that time and now lives in Louisville Kentucky area.

Why they chose this property

Owner Barbie, discovered Lake Eufaula (also called George F. Walter lake) on a week-end trip to celebrate a birthday and fell in love with the clear water and sandy beaches and tall Georgia pine trees and the surrounding Alabama Hills - the lake is Ideal for swimming, boating and fishing and has many fishing tournaments and events held at the George T. Bagby Georgia State Park which is just 3 miles south of the cabin - just a boat ride away! The state park has a marina and lodge and restaurant - boat to brunch!

What makes this property unique

The cabin is right on the water with large private covered dock and boat slip, electric and lights - it provides great fishing and the most amazing sunsets over the water! Great swimming and boating and nature watching and star gazing! You can sit on the covered dock and enjoy a summer rain shower - float on rafts and enjoy music from the ipod player that is provided. Dock is large enough for the whole family to enjoy fishing - the lights provide great night fishing. I've had guests that love the dock so much they have slept several nights on it! It is a rejuvenating - relaxing - escape "off grid" from busy stressful living - hear the wind in the pines - the birds of all kinds - warm sun in the day and cozy fire and star gazing at night!
