Great stay, would recommend. Some details: Our group was three grandparents in their 80s, 2 parents and 3 teens. All bedrooms on second or third floor. We had plenty of space to spread out. The House Manual provided was informative. We stayed during the July 2024 heat wave, and the A/C was helpful. Driveway limited to six cars, two wide, which sometimes provided challenges, as we have local friends and family in for visits during the day. Kitchen was great except the knives will cut nothing, making food prep a challenge and we felt the need to buy a $20 teapot at Goodwill as the house seems to cater to coffee drinkers. Kayaking upriver with the three provided little kayaks was a treat. Belfast is accessible best by bike (across the footbridge), by car okay, but it's a bit far for an easy walk. We did lots of biking courtesy of Bike Coalition of Maine routes.
