Nestled in the woods with mountain views, you’ll have all the space and quiet you’ve been craving. Boasting an entire glass wall of windows in the living room, the space is flooded with nature’s light. A cup of coffee in front of this view is a Zen experience. A distinctive wood-burning fireplace provides warmth & ambiance.
The Space:
Perfect for “cityfolk” looking for a uniquely sophisticated mountain experience! Imagine escaping from the rush of the city and finding this stunning property amidst peace and tranquility, complete with panoramic mountain views, a cozy wood-burning stove, and a soothing hot tub. It’s perfection!
Living Spaces
With the fascinating juxtaposition of a cozy mountain cabin and an urban industrial-style loft, this property never ceases to surprise and delight. The living room, featuring a plush sectional sofa, is tucked away in a cozy “cabin” atmosphere, with wood beams overhead and a warm wood-burning stove. The 65” HDTV with Netflix and HBO Max allows for the opportunity for a “Netflix and chill” evening in.
Cooking & Dining
The industrial-style kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, and a row of windows to allow the sunshine in. A breakfast bar provides additional food prep space and seating for 4.
The dining room has the best view in the house! Situated directly in front of the dreamy window wall, you’ll have a completely unencumbered view of the woods and the mountains beyond. This section of the home also boasts a two-story ceiling, so your view is not limited to a traditional roof line. It truly feels like there’s almost nothing between you and the nature scene before you.

On the first level is a king bedroom with a sleeper sofa. A full bathroom and laundry area is on the other part of the level.
The second floor is up a flight of industrial-style metal steps, while overlooking the magnificent wood and mountain view. Here, you’ll find two additional bedrooms, both with queen beds and a full bathroom with a soaking tub.

We absolutely loved our stay at this unique cabin! It was the perfect mix of peace, comfort, and adventure. Our three kids had a fantastic time exploring, and even our dog was in heaven with all the open space to roam. The property offered total privacy and quiet — just what we needed to unplug and reconnect as a family. The views from the jacuzzi were incredible, especially at sunset, and mornings were pure magic — walking the dog around the private grounds while taking in the mountains and trees all around us. The location was ideal too, with easy access to New Paltz, High Falls, and Kingston for little day trips. The long private driveway added to the feeling of seclusion, so we made sure to arrive before dark, then settled in for cozy dinners and family time at our “adopted home.” We left refreshed, relaxed, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend this hidden gem!
Overall we had a great stay. The check in process worked well and generally the house was as expected. It's in a good location relative to the various outdoor activities and restaurants in the area. The architectural elements of the house were a unique blend of rustic/modern/industrial with the glass wall looking out to Mohonk certainly impressive both day and night. While the driveway is steep and rutted in some areas, it was navigable by a typical SUV. I will note that certain elements of the interior have experienced some wear and tear that could benefit from general maintenance like a leaky kitchen sink, refrigerator's that appear to be not functioning properly and door pulls on the pocket door to the master bedroom not working. None of this impacted our stay dramatically, but could certainly help the stay of future renters.

Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your stay, from the smooth check-in process to the unique rustic/modern/industrial design and the stunning views of Mohonk. It’s great to know the location worked well for your outdoor activities too.
We also truly appreciate you noting the items that needed attention. Right after your stay, we had the kitchen sink repaired, the refrigerator serviced, and the pocket door hardware replaced so everything is in good working order for future guests. While these details didn’t significantly impact your experience, your observations helped us ensure the house is in its best shape moving forward.
We’d love to welcome you back anytime, and you can be sure the home will be even more comfortable on your next visit. Thanks again for choosing our place and for taking the time to share your experience!
