Had a wonderful stay here! There were 6 of us total so we needed a big place like this. The 3.5 bathrooms come in handy when everyone needs to prepare for their day. I would certainly come back here again!
We were 4 adults and two children. The place was perfect for us, and the location was great. It was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. We are very happy with our choice.
We had a fantastic experience at this rental property. It matched the pictures perfectly and was well-equipped with seasonings, cooking oil, and other necessities. Its proximity to Vail Village and Lionshead, just a quick 4-minute drive away, along with a nearby bus stop at Simba Run and a grocery store just 2 minutes down the road, made it the perfect location. We'll definitely be returning here again!
The condo is easy to access and great for a group of friends or small family. The upstairs living room and kitchen area were bright and open. Only complaint is the pillows provided for the bunk bed room.

Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to leave a review. We bought new pillows for the bunk room to ensure our guests are comfortable. Sorry they were not to your liking.
This home was perfect for our family of 5! The 2 boys (18 and 12) shared the bunk room and our daughter had her own room. The en-suite bathrooms were absolutely ideal and made getting up and out in the morning to the slopes super easy! The kitchen was stocked. The bus was super easy to take to Vail Transportation center and to hop on the Gondola and head to the back bowls. After a day of skiing the fireplace was heavenly to relax by. The market was 1 mile away so quite easy to grab items for lunch on the slopes and for dinner. (Sushi restaurant by grocery was spectacular!) The owners were very responsive. So grateful for the opportunity to stay in their lovely home .The location of this home really can’t be beat! When we return to Vail, we will be staying here!
The condominium was very clean and well stocked in the kitchen and linens in the baths.
There were a few issues that I'm not sure anything can be done about - the walls must be very thin and not insulated. We could clearly hear the people above us just talking. They were not loud and laughing or boisterous, so it wasn't too bad but if it was a younger adult group, it could be. The main concern was that we felt the air was very stuffy - it didn't seem to circulate, and we had to open the doors to air out the place just to get fresh air. There were no ceiling fans to move the air around.
I would suggest you add ESPN to your channel line up. We have never not had ESPN at any condo we've stayed at before and to not be able to watch the NCAA college football playoffs was frustrating. We were able to get it through airplay from my husbands computer, but that was not ideal as it kept getting interrupted signal.
The internet was extremely slow and the streaming services would often go into loops on the TV and computer.
I'm not sure you can do anything about the noise level, but possibly add ceiling fans to circulate air might help the stuffiness.
Thank you,
Kathleen M.

Hi Kathleen. We wish you would have reached out during your stay and given us the opportunity to help. We do have ESPN. It is through Hulu Live TV. It turns out a previous guest, or perhaps you, logged into their personal Hulu account.
We have an upgraded internet plan, so perhaps problems you experienced were transient. Either way, we will give the internet a check.

A kid-friendly dream
We stayed at this condo in early July with four adults and a two year old. The condo was absolutely perfect for our needs. We loved that the bedrooms and living area were on two separate levels, so we didn't have to worry about making too much noise and waking our daughter up during naps or bedtime. The child-related amenities were also a life-saver; we didn't have to worry about bringing a pack n play or toys because these were already provided! The entire bottom cabinet of the living room armoire was filled with toys appropriate for a range of ages, including dolls, blocks, cars, and stuffed toys. It was great that every bedroom had its own bathroom, so we didn't have to wait on sharing showers in the morning. The large dining room table is perfect for family meals or board game marathons, and there's plenty of space for multiple chefs in the kitchen.
The location is very convenient. It's a 10 minute walk to a nearby playground (Sandstone), and we took our daughter there almost every morning. It is also walkable to Lionshead Village via the pedestrian bridge (about 20-30 minutes). City Market and Safeway are just down the street, about a 5-minute car ride away. The condo itself is very quiet, although you can hear the highway traffic if you are sitting out on the patio.
Todd and Mary were very responsive and helpful both before and during our stay. When I asked questions about the pack n play and baby monitor, they responded immediately with very detailed information (like the model number of the pack n play!). When they found out that the HOA would be cleaning the windows during our stay, they coordinated with them so that the cleaning would not disrupt our daughter's afternoon nap, which was very thoughtful. Everything in the condo is labeled and all the little "extras" are included (e.g. spices, condiments, laundry soap, etc.)
The only downside was that it was quite hot during our stay and the windows could not be opened and closed, so we had to open the doors if we wanted to circulate any air. In the grand scheme of things, this was a tiny inconvenience. I would definitely stay at this condo again and highly recommend it to other families.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry about the windows. We were having issues with them during your stay. We replaced them in the spring of 2018.
The owners were enjoyable to work with. it was nicely decorated, clean and beds were comfortable. We rented a couple bikes and were able to visit all of Vail. I would recommend this to family and friends.
Mary was instrumental in finding me our Venue for our Rehearsal Party by suggesting a few places. I went with the Grandview and that led to finding a Florist for the wedding flowers and the caterer!! Thank you so much. Your condo was just as pictured except you updated the kitchen beautifully. Very comfortable and all the amenities that you need. Very clean and will stay there again when traveling to Vail!! Thank you so much for sharing your space with us.

I stayed with my family, we were 6 . We were 5 min away from local supermarkets and Vail Village which was amazing. The house was well equiped, clean and spacious.
This was our first time to Vail. We have previously always been to Breckenridge. We loved the condo! It was exactly as pictured. It was definitely one of the cleanest VRBO's that we have stayed in. It was very well equipped with everything we needed including plenty of paper products and such. We did feel the bus system to be good. I would stay here again when we return to Vail. We enjoyed Vail Village and Lionshead! Great area to enjoy walking around, grabbing a drink after skiing or getting dinner in the evening.
This is one of the nicest properties we have stayed at when skiing. It was spotless! The beds were comfortable and the 3 1/2 baths made a huge difference in getting everybody ready on time. The kitchen was well equipped with both pots, pans, dishes etc. as well as pantry essentials. Proximity to Bus stop very useful (getting off at Sandstone School and walking across the bridge is better than taking the bus to Vail and then a second bus, FYI)
We would absolutely return again!
Close to Lionshead but you avoid most of the traffic being on the north side of 70. Great stay!

Very comfortable for 4 adults....privacy, great kitchen....quiet
Was very well prepared for us. And when needed to contact management, they were available, friendly and welcoming for our weekend for the fall. Very quiet, great views from the balcony, and would have liked to have cooked there, but wanted to experience the food in Vail, within 5 minutes.
We will be back, probably for a week ski trip

About the host

We purchased our Vail condo in 1999 and have enjoyed sharing the experience with our guests since day one. Vail holds many memories for our family and we try to find time to enjoy the beauty of the mountains as often as we can.
Why they chose this property
When I was young my parents owned a condo in Vail and I learned to ski in Vail. I now share a similar experience with my family. Vail offers some of the best skiing in Colorado and consistently ranks as one of the top ski resorts in North America. Although best know for it's skiing, Vail also offers a wide range of summer activities. Our family enjoys the summers in Vail just as much as we do the winters.
