RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.



Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The space was clean and had just enough of the essentials. We could see the beach from the living room, the pool was clean and warm. The only downside was the thickness/quality of the sofa bed mattress- incredibly thin and uncomfortable- I don’t feel that should have been considered a second bed with how poor the quality was. If only two people are staying/sharing the bed, it was otherwise FANTASTIC. Thank you for everything!

July 4th Getaway

We had a great stay! The location was an easy walk to the pool and beach. Having our kids join made it that much better for them too as it wasn’t a far walk for food or beach toys!

We loved our stay at Silver Sands. Our unit was just perfect for us and steps away from the pool/beach. Great property - very clean and tidy. Well maintained. We will definitely come back!

Great location on the beach but the unit is old and in need of repair, especially the bathroom. The toilet was not working properly and a repair person was quick to obtain parts and fix it. Repeated requests for a different rental were ignored.

Perfect property for a long or short stay. Just two of us for three nights, but would definitely return for a longer stay. Longboat Key is beautiful. Well equipped kitchen; Comfortable bed; easy access to nice pool and beautiful beach. Chaise lounges at the beach, umbrellas available for guests. Overall nice property.

Wish it was a longer stay

The rental was just as described. It was clean and welcoming. Loved that we could walk out the back door to the beach. Wish we could’ve stayed more than 1 night but our schedules did not permit it. Would definitely recommend

Small but very clean.

Unfortunately the weather was a bit cold for the beach, but it is January. Condo was very clean. Could use a new coffee pot as this one doesn't make hot coffee Pool looked nice and the location was great. This is an older complex but the owner has made some nice upgrades. Pictures on line are accurate.

PERFECT GETAWAY!!!!

My husband, my self and our two children (9&11) stayed here and had the best vacation ever!!!!! The condo was a great size, kiddos slept on the pullout couch comfortably. Sitting on the lanai we could see the ocean as well as hear the waves! The pool was so perfectly close for all of us too! We had A LOT of fun on the putt putt course!!!! Again, the ocean was RIGHT THERE!!! Every morning started with a walk up or down the beach with the kids finding sand dollars, crabs, and so many beautiful shells. Afternoons were beach and pool....we'd set up our chairs and umbrella for the day and go back and forth. The waves were PERFECT for the kids....enough to boogie board , but not too big that we ever had to worry! Went out to the sandbar just a ways out almost every day as well. The town location was great, close to the store and plenty of restaurants to choose from.....food was FANTASTIC when we went out, but having the full kitchen in the condo available had us conveniently eating at home most nights. We can't WAIT to come back and absolutely recommend this condo for an amazing beach vacation! Thank you so much for sharing your special place with us!!!!

Summer trip to the the Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay over the 4th of July holiday, celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary! Our room was just as described, the verticals blinds on the sliding door had a few missing or broken, but nothing significant. It’s easy pool and beach access. Beautiful views! The pool was closed the first day and a half due to mechanical issues. They did offer another option down the road 1/4 of a mile, which we did not partake. The beach was beautiful, clean and private. Our morning walks were so serene! We saw dolphins and manatees right from the beach! It was turtle season, seeing the nests and tracks daily was so interesting and talking to the volunteers that check them each morning was so informative! Great sunsets! We enjoyed our meal at the Mar Vista- the grilled grouper on rice and beans was amazing! The Silver Sands was a relaxing environment and the staff were very accommodating! It was nice that they had an area of beach toys/umbrellas and floats that could be used/borrowed during your stay. Overall a great stay! Thanks!
