“DOME on the Hill” is a unique geodesic dome home which sits on 6.51 acres near Chillicothe in south-central Ohio. This 3200 sq. ft. home has 5 bedrooms, 3 ½ baths, 2 living quarters, dining area, huge kitchen, and laundry room. It was designed and erected near a major highway making it easily accessible to shopping, restaurants, and local attractions, yet it is completely private – nestled on top of a hill surrounded by trees. The large deck with patio furniture & lighted grill, 6-person waterfall hot tub, and fire pit with log benches add the final touches to this property, which is perfect for the nature lover, families and friends on vacation, those who need a work retreat, or the person who just wants some quiet time. “Dome on the Hill” is truly a secluded sanctuary. The host was wonderful, left us brownies & snacks to enjoy. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hot tub was nice after a day of hiking. Very peaceful up there. Would definitely stay again.

Hostess was amazing and the house was stocked with more than a typical Vrbo. Which includes coffee, hot chocolate, extra tooth brushes and many other thoughtful items.

We were there for 4 nights, absolutely no issues with anything. As my wife put it The Dome was the best place we have stayed in, even our daughter-n-law did't have any complaints. Plenty of room and the quiet location was enjoyable.Hopefully it will be available the next time we are up in Chillicothe Ohio. By the way Melody was a fantastic host, even bringing over great cookies and brownies.Mark B.

The Dome was so beatable and peaceful. It was perfect for family fun with the big air hockey table. Every inch of this place was cozy! Opened door to a nice treat and the owner was simply amazing. Will definitely stay again.

Cool, unique house and welcoming host!

Wonderful stay. The hostess was very gracious and welcoming. The house is obviously one of the most unique properties out there, but, in addition, is very well maintained and surprisingly roomy. The property is gorgeous, and the hot tub was relaxing. Hope to come back again!

Beautiful Property

This place is great! Very clean, nice and neat. One of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. The history of the place is interesting. The hot tub is amazing. We'll definitely keep this on our list of places to stay when working in the area.

Awesome House, Awesome Host

This is by far the coolest and most unique house I've ever stayed in. I really enjoyed learning about the history of the property and the area; it felt like I was staying in a private museum! The host also goes above and beyond to prepare the place. I would absolutely stay here again.

Melody is a great host. She met us when we arrived and gave a tour of the property. She even baked brownies for us! The house was spotless and the kitchen had lots of dishes, bowls, pots & pans. There were staples in the pantry! The kids enjoyed the fenced yard and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. Highly recommend The Dome.

Girls Get-Away Weekend
