Walk the French Island trial along the scenic Ohio River and enjoy the quaint shops.

We were there visiting family over the Thanksgiving holiday. The property was amazing. Nice, quiet, warm and cozy. The wooded area in back was like a park. Nearby Newburgh Indiana was a charming small river town with good restaurants, coffee houses, and shops. The host and her son were very warm, friendly, and accommodating. We had a great stay and hope to return.

Family get together

The house was absolutely beautiful. Very well maintained and stocked with about everything you would need. Too hot to enjoy outside but the fire pit and deck would be perfect for fall weather. Will return when coming back to visit Family.

Fourth of July family gathering

This is our third time at country comfort. We love the location. The cleanliness of the property. The responsiveness of Cheryl the owner when there was problem. I love that the property allows dogs.

Fantastic retreat

Great house. Everything my family needed. Comfortable gathering space. Kitchen had what we needed to prepare our meals. Comfortable brooms. We stayed in February. We would live to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the outside space!

Beautiful renovated property. So much space. Big bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was wonderful to cook in. When visiting family in Evansville will hope to stay here again.

Nice spaces, large rooms comfortable, liked that the beds had different softnesses so you could pick which was most comfortable.. Would stay again if we are in the area.

Our wedding at The Farmhouse!

We rented the farmhouse for a small wedding ceremony and the backyard was the perfect setting to enjoy our special day with 20 of our closest family and friends! The house is beautiful and everything we needed was there to enjoy our stay! We will absolutely visit again! Thank you!
