Outstanding location and great views especially while eating dinner on the upper deck. Vito was responsive and we were able to check in a few hours early which was a great benefit. The home was comfortable for our family and provided a great base for accessing the Cape Poge beaches.

A special place to enjoy your fall adventures. So close to the beach made it great for fishing. We were lucky enough to time it during a meteor shower and enjoyed watching from the 2nd floor deck. The house was comfortable for my family. I wish I caught a bigger fish! Hopefully next year and at Vito's home for sure.

Fall quietude

This cottage was the perfect little getaway for our family to base our first visit on Chappy. We loved being able to walk to the beach and appreciated the cleanliness of the cottage as well as its charm.

The location of a private beach in the salt water fed pond and the feeling that the ocean beach is all ours. Plus how quiet the house is, even with the road to the beach so close. In a bird sanctuary. We go for the peacefulness of the wonderful little house.

Great location - perfect for our family with little kids. Water they can wade in and the main beach nearby. Although by no means would this be bad for folks without small kids - the main beach is right there and lots to do on Chappy, while still feeling very relaxing and off the beaten path. Thanks!

Girl weekend

Wonderful quaint cottage not far from ocean. It was very clean with all necessary amenities. We liked the privacy, yet not far from edgartown. Would definitely come back.

family birthday trip

What a wonderful time we had celebrating my son's 14th birthday on the off season Vito gave us some fishing tips on where to fish and all boys caught plenty of blues which was very exciting.Besides being a perfect fishing trip the house was well stocked and spacious.

Absolutely amazing space

This cottage was cozy and had amazing views of the ocean. The check in process was simple and great communication with host. Very short walk to the beach and excellent fishing. Over sand trail was awesome. Thank you for your help !!!!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. You can't beat the location if you're there to drive oversand and tour all the beauty that Chappaquiddick has to offer. The home was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Communication with the owners was prompt and comforting. We're looking forward to future stays!

Unique Getaway

My family stayed at this property and had a great experience. We've stayed in Edgartown many times over the years, but this home offered a very unique experience. There's easy access to the hustle and bustle of town for those who want it, and a serene beach, kayaking and beautiful views for those who don't (separated only by an adorable one minute ferry ride). The house is rustic but comfortable - a true Cape Cod cottage vacation. Be sure to get up early and catch a sunrise - we enjoyed it with a family of deer.

We loved our stay at the cottage! Perfect location and such a cute, seaside cottage. The bedding was so soft and comfortable. Loved having the Turkish beach towels! We played board games upstairs in the family room every evening! It was stocked with plenty of reading material about the island and even had bikes & kayaks for us to use! Can’t say enough about this place! We loved it! We will be back!

We acknowledge that the Cottage is not a 5 star hotel. That is why we love it, our listing encourages people to enjoy the 5 star location and service we offer. Our cottage is comfortable and cozy and at the steps of an oasis in nature. We are at the mercy of the tides and the winds and the weather. We responded immediately to this guest with their concerns and also brought out a professional to inspect their concern. Our professional found no issues in regards to the guests concerns. The guests prior had no issues, our house cleaner had no such issues and the following guests had no issues. Depending on the tide the wind and the weather the environment will not be the same two days in a row. This is why the cottage is so special. It is nestled in an ever changing and pure environment. Please come back and enjoy again.
