Tucked between the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Nantahala National Forest, The Hydeaway offers privacy, nature, and easy access to the Fontana Recreation Area. You’ll feel tucked away—yet perfectly located for adventure or rest.

Inside the Cabin

This rustic retreat comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests and blends cozy charm with modern comforts. Inside, you’ll find:
• Vaulted ceilings with seasonal mountain views
• Fireplace, central heat & A/C
• Smart TVs (log into Netflix, Hulu, etc.)
• Washer & dryer

Sleeping & Bathrooms
• Main floor private bedroom: 1 queen bed
• Upstairs open loft: 2 queen beds
• Hybrid memory foam mattresses throughout
• Two full bathrooms (one on each floor)

Fully Equipped Kitchen

Just bring your food and seasonings—everything else is ready:
• Cookware, dishes, and utensils
• Coffee pot with filters

Very secluded house, loved the privacy and the backyard setup! The house was great for us and our dogs, very dog friendly which we appreciate! Also enjoyed using the fireplace and the hot tub, great things to have at a mountain house. Hosts were very communicative and helpful, especially clear with the directions to get there which was great. House had all the little things too that you might need. Overall had a great visit.

Our stay here was amazing! Right after booking, the host sent us a very well done digital brochure about the home, activities in the area, and local amenities. The home and property were incredibly clean. The bathroom, linens, and kitchen were all well stocked. It feels very private and secluded, truly a delightful getaway from it all! The hosts went above & beyond- their response time was very quick in answering any questions and they were also quick to help when I forgot a beloved clothing item there. We would happily stay again & would very much recommend! Thank you!

Amazing secluded gateaway!

Absolutely loved our stay in this cabin! We did not leave the house during our 2 nights stay - maybe only to go to the hot tub, but nothing further :) we cabin is quite modern, but still charming and has a lot of character. It had everything that we needed to cook and keep us entertained. Would love to come back when in the area.
