Annisquam has a quaint village and from this house, there are lovely walks, taking in beaches and classic New England houses, all set off from the main road. Gloucester, with many fine restaurants, and historical sites is a short 15 minute drive. In the other direction, following the road around Cape Ann, one comes to Rockport and its many shops.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy family home nestled in the quiet Annisquam village. The house is tucked away from the road, offering complete privacy and a peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful gardens and large trees that the owner, Deborah, clearly cares for. Waking up to a waterview of the ocean from the kitchen was a true highlight!Deborah was an exceptional host—very responsive and helpful, providing all the details we needed before our trip and making sure we felt right at home. The location is ideal: just a short walk to the neighborhood’s private beach, which overlooks the picturesque Annisquam lighthouse. The area is filled with many walking trails, including scenic paths that lead directly to the beach, making it perfect for exploring and enjoying the natural beauty of the neighborhood.It was the perfect spot for a quiet family vacation. We can’t recommend this home enough and hope to return soon!
