The host was very friendly and welcoming. She explained the history of the 1904 hotel and it's famous (or infamous) former occupants. Close to many dining options. Traffic noise at the nearby intersection was noticable The perfect place for my son and I to explore the keys and everglades. Visit the alligator farm and local bakery!

Older renovated building. Not fancy but clean. Price was great, staff very nice and helpful, bed was comfortable. Centrally located to access the keys and the Everglades

Nice place

It was overall a pleasant stay. Everyone was very friendly. Nice restaurant on 1st floor. We could never get tv working but not a deal breaker. Neighborhood a little sketchy.

Location

Newly remodeled place but not really a friendly welcoming feeling. Has an airy feeling to the place. We did not stay due to the uneasy feeling.

Hope you like loud crappy music and cold showers

Shower water was impossible to get warm, and it didn’t matter if it was morning or the middle of the night. There was music, and the doors didn’t affect how loud it was in the room. Sirens all night long. Parking was a little tight. Restaurant employees were rude although food was good.

First visit to Florida from Utah!

We visited Redland Hotel 3/7-9. Christine was very friendly and helpful, providing suggestions for dining, sightseeing and providing glasses and ice bucket so we could have beverages in our room. The hotel was quaint but was clearly remodeled inexpensively: there was no lamp or bedside table by the bed; no shelf in the shower for soap or shampoo, so we had to put those items on the shower floor. Light could be seen all the way around the door to the hallway as no door trim had been installed. A single serve coffee pot was provided, but coffee had to be purchased from a vending machine and no sugar or creamer was provided. Those items would've been nice. We loved the balcony access from our room and enjoyed sitting on the common balcony and watching the neighborhood. thank you!

everything was good! the water for the shower wasn’t exactly hot but it was still nice. the housekeeper lady was always attentive to us and asking if we needed anything. the area was pretty safe and not sketchy. plus there was this friendly outside cat always hanging around with us on our stay, best part of this place. i will recommend this place 10/10

If you’re looking for a budget friendly stay while you visit the national parks this place will do just fine. It was functional to shower and sleep and placed in the center of Homestead which made it easy to get to the nearby parks. As mentioned in previous reviews: the noise from the restaurant (especially on the weekends) and the hallway in general really travels and is quite disruptive. If you are looking for more comfortable and relaxing accommodations spend the extra 30/40 for an actual hotel room.
