McKinney Upper es una unidad superior de 4 dormitorios y 2 baños de una casa enclavada en grandes abetos, a solo dos minutos a pie del pueblo turístico.

La cocina está bien equipada con un refrigerador grande, estufa y lavavajillas, así como una variedad de aparatos más pequeños. La mesa de comedor con capacidad para ocho con asientos adicionales en el bar para cuatro. Great views

Great views while sitting on the deck waiting for the sun to come up. Challenging hike right down the road. Convenient grocery store on site. Cozy cabin stay!

Nice getaway

Family vacation stay in early summer. Was a nice place overall with a nice view. Definitely resort focused as anticipated, but lacks some maintenance that was mostly a nuisance, but wasn't planning to spend some time repairing bed assembly issues while on vacation with a pinched nerve in the back. Appreciated the privacy. Had to check out a day early due to kids getting sick and pinched nerve getting worse. Staff said they couldn't adjust charges, which is understandable, but disappointing to not even consider after some of the issues we encountered.

Great vacation property, LOTS of stairs

This property fit my family of 8 very well. All the kids had their own beds, and bathrooms and kitchen space were adequate. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved watching deer come by in the evening, and the resort area is gorgeous. The living room is somewhat small for a property that sleeps 10, but this didn't matter much for us because we were out exploring the outdoors most of the time. Three small downsides: the only bathroom upstairs is inside the master bedroom, with no door from the hall or other bedroom. Only the master bedroom and the dining area have AC (wall units) but all of the bedrooms did have fans, and it wasn't too hot while we were there in early July. There is no driveway though. We were able to park in front of the house, but there are a LOT of stairs. There is however a small space where you can park for a few minutes to unload at the back, with only a couple of stairs. On the whole, we liked it and would rent it again.

Observations: Overall the place was not very clean. There were mouse droppings in the linen closet, behind a chewed up towel. The oven also caught fire because it was greasy and poorly kept. There was no fire extinguisher within a reasonable distance of the oven and within line of sight (usually in a pantry or under the sink). Apparently there was one around the corner. Very hot during the summer. A/c is in one bedroom and in the kitchen, that's it. Your using floor fans everywhere else. Other than that whitefish was great.

In response to these guest claims: The oven in this property has never had a problem previously. The fire in this property was caused by negligence of the guest not keeping an eye on the bacon that was being baked in the oven. This will occur in any oven of any age or quality if the temperature and the bacon is not monitored by the cook. The guests had to pay for the damage caused by the fire as well as the lost revenue of the owner for a following reservation that had to be moved to another property due to the damage. There is a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. This property is located in a forested area and there is indeed the presence of all kinds of wildlife. The presence of mice in and around the property has been addressed and will be monitored by the owner of the house as well. The owner has also chosen to update the AC units in the house, but we cannot control the weather and extreme heat in Montana is becoming more and more of a common occurrence. We have a supply of loaner fans for guest use if the AC is not satisfactory during their stay. We take guest criticism seriously and always use it constructively to improve the guest experience. We can say with certainty that this property is not misrepresented in its unit description and we encourage guests to inquire directly with our reservation agents if they have any specific questions they would like to ask. Our original property had a fire and was not able to be stayed in. The manger called and alerted us the day prior and helped make arrangements that were Similar.

Terrible at communicating

Resort management does not do a good job calling you back or being able to give an answer when we had an issue.

To all future guests of Whitefish Mountain Resort: The resort as well as the entire Flathead Valley region is experiencing a massive explosion in the amount of visitation to the area, calls/emails for bookings and inquiries, and other necessary procedural practices that require us to take more time to properly address each issue. Beautiful and relaxing stay

Great condo with plenty of room and full kitchen pots, pans, etc. Parking is a tad tight if you have more than 1 vehicle. Loving sitting out on the deck watching the deer, etc. Staff at check-in was very helpful with tips, suggestions, etc.

Quiet Getaway

We loved the cabin. It was adorned with beautiful native decor, had everything we needed to cook, and had more than enough room for 8 people. The dryer was on the fritz but besides that, the check in process was easy and the front office was willing to help us with whatever we needed. Although it's a little further from downtown than we expected, McKinley is situated in a nice community with beautiful views. Thank you for the stay.

Excellent place, complete with everything we needed, the condo is unique with excellent architectural design...my only comment is that it was dusty when we came, although everything's organize, so I will give it 4 stars
