Nous sommes une famille du Wisconsin qui encourage les vacances en famille dans les grands bois du nord. Afin de promouvoir les escapades en famille, nous proposons actuellement notre résidence familiale comme une retraite de vacances.

SituĂ© au cƓur de la forĂȘt d'État du nord des Highlands et sur la paisible baie de Razorback Lake, cet Ă©tablissement moderne conviendra Ă  tous vos besoins de dĂ©tente et de loisirs. Que vous soyez randonneur, motard, pĂȘcheur, kayakiste ou shopper, le Razorback Retreat ne vous dĂ©cevra pas. Avec un accĂšs rapide Ă  Eagle River, Minoqua, St. Germain et Boulder Junction, le client, vous feront le plein de boutiques uniques et de destinations de shopping familiĂšres. D'innombrables lacs, riviĂšres et ruisseaux vous aideront Ă  vous perdre pendant des jours en kayak et en pĂȘche. Amazing Stay at This Beautiful Lake House!We had the most incredible time at this lake house! The property was absolutely perfect—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The views were breathtaking, with a stunning, peaceful lake right in front of us. There’s nothing better than waking up to that view each morning.The lake access was so convenient, and we had a blast kayaking and just relaxing by the water. We also loved how much wildlife we saw during our stay. There were hummingbirds everywhere, which added such a charming touch to our mornings.The house itself had plenty of room for everyone, and we felt right at home. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the cozy living spaces to the fully equipped kitchen. It really made for a perfect getaway.Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a tranquil, nature-filled retreat. We can’t wait to return!

Razorback retreat is a great vacation home! Wonderfully kept and well appointed. The home has everything a family needs for a great northwoods vacation! Boat and kayak during the day. Bike to the corner store for ice cream and camp fire at night. Sayner is a great area to enjoy a week’s vacation!! Make sure you check out the ski show on Plum lake, you will not be disappointed. This year was our second year staying at razorback retreat and we intend on staying again next year. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Perfect Vacation

Cross country skiing

We were there in the winter for cross-country skiing. Lots of good back country and groomed trail skiing close by. Very nice and large Northwoods cabin. Nice looking lake...

Peaceful Getaway

Larry is a great host, great communicator, home is spacious and very clean, caught fish, saw deer, & had a great time! Grounds are also well maintained, enjoyed use of firepit.

Great location, great house for a group.

We held our family reunion here Aug. 10-17, 2024. It was well worth the 13 hr. trip from So.California for this beautiful and relaxing location. The home was plenty big for our group of 8. We rented a pontoon boat for the week (from St. Germain watersports) and was amazing exploring the lake and wildlife. FYI, if you do rent a boat be VERY careful as the lake is very shallow in some spots and we did in fact nick the propeller on rocks. Larry is a fabulous host and proactively reached out with check in instructions and resolved any questions we had very quickly. Would stay again in a heart beat.

Razorback retreat

Great time on razorback lake yet again. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to do a fishing trip, countless gorgeous lakes in the area to explore. Also a great place to just relax and unwind with friends or family. We'll be back

Razorback retreat

Great time as always, been here many times and never disappoints. Beautiful house, beautiful lake, beautiful area. Camped in this area for many years as a kid but camping is tougher these days. So glad we found such great place to stay on the same lake that gave me so many great childhood memories. Thanks Larry

Annual Family Snowmobiling Trip (w/no snow!!!!)

This is the second year in a row that we stayed here for our yearly family snowmobiling trip. Unfortunately this year we had no snow but still got away with the family. Both years, for what we look for in our VRBO homes, this one is perfect. We plan on using it next year.

RAZORBACK RESORT

Razorback Resort is totally awesome! Thank you, Larry, for sharing this beautiful home with my family! The home, the property, the lake are totally magnificent! We enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, fire pit, patio, walking the driveway and seeing all the deer!

Northwoods Family Vacation

We enjoyed a week in northern Wisconsin with our daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren at this wonderful family home. There was plenty of room for everyone. The grandkids loved playing in the sand and watching the wildlife wandering through the yard. The location is great - far enough away to be peaceful, but close enough to dining and activity venues. The property is well maintained; and is equipped with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. We look forward to returning again next year.

My name is Ben Jaeger. I own and operate the Razorback Retreat together with my 2 sisters, Rachael & Amanda, and my brother Seth. We have been coming up to this property for our whole lives. Making wonderful memories with our parents and grandparents is what we truly value about the Razorback Retreat. For decades we have enjoyed annual ice fishing weekends and recently welcomed a new generation of deer hunters. We are truly blessed to have this space to share with you.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Our grandparents, Gib & Lucile, bought the property in 1971 with a small 2 bedroom cottage nestled on the southern bay of Razorback Lake. Winters were always tough with no running water, so in 2005 we built a year round home to enjoy every Wisconsin season. The location of the property offers a quiet setting surrounded by trees and a few other cabins. We love all the wildlife we see from the cabin. Deer, ducks, loons, squirrels, and other small birds are just a few.
The lake offers plenty of fishing opportunities as well as swimming, kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding. If waters are a little rough, there are plenty of small bays to tuck yourself away and just enjoy the quiet of the north woods.
We also enjoy being so close to Minoqua, Eagle River, Boulder Junction and St. Germain for shopping and a dose of civilization.
If you enjoy biking, hiking, cross country skiing or other physical activities, there are plenty of nearby trails to accommodate your needs.

Beautiful scenery, great fishing, kayaking, quiet location. Seated in the Northern Highlands State Forest only a hop, skip, and a jump away from Eagle River, Minoqua, and Boulder Junction. Our cabin has all the modern features you could need to stay connected, but an atmosphere that will make you want to stay disconnected.
