One Of A Kind Star Lake Home - Pontoon Included

The ultimate Northwoods home! Located on beautiful Star Lake, this unique lakeside cottage is just what a family needs to have the perfect vacation.

Ultimate Old Hickory furnishings with comfort in mind! Living room with wood burning stove, large den with bar area, full kitchen with updated appliances, large table, 4 deluxe over sized bedrooms with ample closet space. A master bedroom with a king feather bed, a second king bedroom, one queen bedroom, and a twin bedroom. Two full baths. Linens and towels are provided.

A huge screen porch with a 10 foot camp table able to seat 12, and a living area over looking pristine Star Lake. Camp Edna is truly the "Star" of Star Lake rentals. It is the property for the most discerning guest - luxury with the unmistakable Northwoods feel!

WiFi, and Smart TV with DVD player are provided for our guests.

We also have our vintage, 2 Bedroom & 1 Bath rustic guest cottage for rent if more room is desired. Bear Cottage is 15 feet from the lake with a private dock and sandy beach. It's perfect when you have a larger group and if you'd like to bring your dog. Please inquire for more information.

Privacy on 1.5 acres, 250 foot lake frontage. OUR 18 FOOT PONTOON BOAT IS INCLUDED IN ALL CAMP EDNA PEAK SEASON RENTALS! We want you to enjoy all of our beautiful Star Lake. Star Lake (1300 Acres) is 92% state owned, so the lake is practically your own. A large, private, permanent pier is yours to enjoy with two lounge chairs and a seating area with threes chairs and table. The dock is large enough to accommodate your own boat as well. A row boat and canoe are included as well. The large fire pit, with wood provided, is perfect for the evening campfire and S'Mores.

*Pontoon Boat is available during the summer season from Memorial Day Weekend through mid September

Security Cameras: Camp Edna has three outdoor security cameras. Facing the lake, driveway and street. The cameras are in place to monitor the property when empty. The cameras can be unplugged by our guests or by request of our property manager.

Road Trip

We have been road tripping for over 40 years. Camp Edna has been a wonderful destination the past 3 years. We love the area, Star Lake, pontoon rides, exploring the trails and shopping!

Paradise in the North Woods

Camp Edna is one of our most treasured places to stay. The home has everything we need and the vibe is classic north woods. Such a peaceful place. Property manager Rob is great to work with.

Great place for family!

True Up North cabin

Camp Edna is a great property with tons of amenities. It's unbelievably quiet and peaceful. Star Lake is great for fishing, swimming, boating. To have the pontoon included is a significant value added benefit. Would definitely come back.

Relaxing

The place lent itself to long conversations, laughter, games, and reading on the porch, dock and pontoon boat. The lake is beautiful with clear water - perfect for a swim. It’s close to good restaurants and hiking or long walks. And the decor oozes the Northwoods!

Perfect Getaway

Camp Edna was just as advertised. A quiet location on Star lake with a well maintained pontoon boat. The house is thoughtfully furnished with a great kitchen and nice layout for a variety of activities. We enjoyed the camp fire, exploring the lake, visiting nearby towns, and doing some shopping. Thanks for a relaxing week.

Rustic Northwoods Elegance!

We just came back from a wonderful weekend spent @ Camp Edna on Star Lake. This has to be the warmest, most welcoming cabin rental in the Northwoods. Everything is here for a great stay. Beds were super comfortable, everything was very clean, bathrooms and kitchen nicely updated. The views of Star Lake from the cabin are stunning! If you want peace and quiet along with rustic, Northwoods elegance, this is the place for you!

Great Place!

Very clean well set-up house...someone put some time into the really neat up-North furnishings!! Very comfy and warm home. While it's literally on the side of road/snowmobile trail you always felt like you were in the woods and traffic noise was minimal. Vermont wood burning was a hit on cold mornings and at night. Would stay again.

Wonderful

This place is a true gem. It's tucked away in a very quiet area surrounded by national forest so just the act of arriving is amazing as you roll through trees. Once there you are met with an inviting, warm, charming cottage with very comfortable beds and a breeze through the windows. The pontoon boat a must as it is the gateway to the beauty of Star Lake. Caught some fish, star gazed on the dock, played nine at Plum Lake and enjoyed everything about the area. Everyone was incredibly kind. I miss it already.

Lake was weedy and dock not conducive to swimming. Dock in pretty rough shape. Ladder into lake didn’t look safe. Needed some repairs to entry railing and kitchen cupboard. Very clean inside. Well outfitted kitchen. Good size for a larger group.

My family and friends spent a week in this magical place. The cottage is exceptionally beautiful, it offers state of the art amenitie and the most comfortable, great quality bedding. The screened porch, in addition to the living room one, has a fire place that keeps you warm in the evening while enjoying the breathtaking view of the Star Lake. This place is quiet and private and offers the best of worlds- modern touch with the privacy and beauty of the wilderness.Also, the owners allow pets on the screened porch which is great! I would definitelly book Camp Edna for Summer vacation again! One disadvantage (that would probably be essential to families with kids) is that there is no direct access to the beech for swimming. Other than that, Camp Edna is one of the best wilderness destinations we have been to.

Unforgettable Girls Weekend in the Northwoods!

We pulled up to Camp Edna in the pitch dark and it was lite so beautifully by the screen porch lights....we called a neighboring fella suggested my Paul to come and build us a fire our first evening....it was perfect wine & snacks with a fire in the northwoods. The entire weekend was amazing...the beds are comfortable and the linens are lovely as well. The cabin is decorated perfectly too....everywhere you look there is something to enjoy. Adding to the awesome stay was the fully equipped kitchen...everything you could possibly need. Would love to come back in the summer to use the lake. Thank you so much for having such a beautiful place to stay and enjoy....we made some aweome memories celebrating my sister's upcoming wedding.

Amazing location, uniquely designed house, nice bedding and kitchen utensils

We really enjoyed staying over in this house. Dreamy porch, high end bedding sheets and pillows, very nice design all over the house, quality pots, plates and utensils. This house makes you feel like home in the middle of the woods. We enjoyed every second of our vacation. We were just a little surprised to find that there are only 4 bedrooms instead of 6 as listed in the description, I guess the owner counted the living room and a family room as a bedroom. It didn't matter to us as we had a great time anyways. We had plenty of firewood and starters. Plenty of towels. We were pleasantly surprised that the owner left for us a washing detergent, soaps and dishwasher tablets (usually we bring those things with us). Overall great property and well kept house. We even talked about coming back in the summer. It is probably as magnificent here in a summer time, as it is in a winter time.

Excellent home for a weeks escape to north woods

Great home completely outfitted. The lake is large, has very few homes on it. We always catch walleye as we’ve learned the spots. Great location to visit other towns like boulder, eagle river, minocqua.

Beautifully decorated north woods cabin on a pristine lake

The property is just as described and Rob was very prompt in responding to all communications before our stay and met us upon arrival to orient us with the property and pontoon (included). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
