Listed on the Register of Hawaii's Historic Homes this classic restored beach house was built of lava rock during the reign of King Kalakaua. Guests enjoy the white sand beach that fronts the home as well as the clear blue waters for swimming, snorkeling and boogie boarding. Called "Hale Pohaku" or "House of Stone", this home sleeps 8 and is a wonderful getaway throughout the year. Guests enjoy the spacious living room with classic vaulted ceiling and large picture window overlooking the blue Pacific. The beach fronting the home is safe for swimming and the sugary-sand beach extends for 5 miles of strolling and exploring. Please note; there is a separate caretaker cottage with private entry also located at the front of this property (not intrusive to rental guests)!
