My casa in Loreto Bay is in an upscale development located along the beautiful Sea of Cortez. The casa has two floors. The lower floor contains the kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom as well as a bedroom with a king bed. The couch in the living room folds out to provide a bed for another guest. The bathroom features two sinks, a walk-in shower, oversized tub and toilet. Inside the entryway on the lower floor is a garden featuring a small fountain open to the sky. The second floor contains another master bedroom with a king bed and bathroom with all of the same amenities as the lower floor. An upstairs patio has views of the ocean, the mountains and an amazing night sky. It is perfect place to enjoy margaritas, wine and the view! A gas grill is on the patio for cooking up your favorite meats and vegetables. There is also a fire pit for evening warmth. A washer/ dryer are available in the casa should you need to do laundry. Each bedroom and the living room have televisions connected to satellite with approximately 170 video and 50 audio channels. My personal Casa Coburn Web site provides many more photos, travel info, weather details, things to do and details on the Loreto area. From the front door to the edge of the beach is only 110 paces! Yes, you're that close to the beach with water's edge around 360 feet away depending on tide level. A neighborhood lap pool is just 100 feet away. If you enjoy fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving or the sea life in general; you'll love spending time in Loreto! Within the Loreto Bay neighborhood are a championship golf course (approximately 1/3 mile from casa), tennis center, several restaurants and stores with food and other supplies.

Why Property Manager chose Loreto Municipality
I am a writer and I wanted a place to occasionally get away and write. Loreto Bay offered a sustainable community with an amazing community plan in a beautiful location. One of my passions is scuba diving and the Sea of Cortez in Loreto offers a wide variety of marine life from tiny seahorses to giant whales.
What makes this House unique
I always try to get in a few dives while in Loreto. Even if there isn't time to dive, there is great snorkeling around Nopolo point (about a five minute walk along the beach). I've also enjoyed kayaking in the estuarys and visiting some of the nearby towns.

Very nice. Well equipped and great location.
Good condition overall but noisy a/c in MBR.
One bug - no light on balcony makes using propane BBQ an adventure.
I'm glad to hear these guests enjoyed their stay.
Casa Coburn - January 2018
We enjoyed our 5 week stay at Casa Coburn this January. The property is very centrally located in Nopolo with several restaurants / bars close by. We played several rounds of golf at the Loreto Bay golf club which was just a couple of blocks away and we were able to leave our clubs at the course at no additional cost. The sea of cortez was close as were 2 out of the 5 pools which were available to us. The interior of the casa was a bit dark as is mentioned in other posts, but we did not plan to spend our time indoors so it did not bother us. The upper deck was where we preferred to spend our time if we weren't out and about. The village of Loreto was just 10 minutes away by car but if you don't have a rental there is no public transportation available, only taxi. There were several good restaurants in town and our favourite was Mi Loreto.
Glad to hear these guests got to enjoy a lot of what Loreto Bay and the town of Loreto have to offer.
Very relaxing! Recommend.
Totally enjoyed our stay at Casa Coburn. We had contact with the owner ahead of time, and the property management company contacted us when we were there. Comfortable surroundings in every part of the casa. Beds, baths, balcony, location relative to the pool, washer/dryer were all wonderful features. Some leftovers and stockup from housekeeping were welcome on our arrival.
Would have liked for the future: better TV instructions, better ways to access kayak and bike rentals (or even better, some of that with the unit). The coffeemaker needs to be descaled or replaced as it just doesn't really work. Although, Cafe Corazon was excellent for our holiday meal options and morning coffee when we didn't want to wait for a pot of coffee.
Overall, we'd look forward to booking again! Thank you for making our holidays great.
I'm glad that these guests enjoyed a relaxing visit.
Close to a great beach
This is a lovely property very well situated. The owner was extremely well organized and
responsive. The neighborhood is absolutely charming, and I spent many unexpected hours
wandering the winding paths and discovering hidden plazas and fountains. When I wasnt snorkeling or horseback riding or kayaking, that is...
It was fun talking to this guest before arrival about things to do and then hearing about all the adventures had during the stay. So glad it was an enjoyable stay.
We have now stayed at Casa Coburn three times. The owner has always been responsive. We appreciated the improvements since our last visit e.g. a big screen TV in the family room that we could watch while cooking. Great location.
It was great to have this group back a third time. Not only did the guest notice the big changes we made such as the new televisions, he also brought three new pans for the kitchen (for which he was reimbursed). Glad they enjoyed the location and their stay!
Perfect little casita in a beautiful housing development.
I have traveled extensively in Mexico and Loreto Bay and the housing development had all the charm I have experienced in Mexico. The casita itself was more than sufficient for our needs -- just my husband and myself. Very comfortable. Loreto Bay, itself, was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling there. I think it would be important to note that the few restaurants within walking distance (with the exception of the resort right there) are closed in the hottest months, which, for us, included September. I highly recommend Casa Coburn!
I'm so happy to hear this couple enjoyed their stay, a variety of activities and the surrounding community. Would love to have them stay at the casa again in the future.
Loreto is a very popular destination for those who enjoy the Sea of Cortez and all that it offers. Fishing, snorkeling, whale watching, kayaking and scuba diving are all popular activities. Within the neighborhood is an 18-hole championship golf course and a lighted tennis center. The town of Loreto's most notable historic site is Misión de Nuestra Señora de Loreto Conchó, founded in 1697.
