Beautiful fall long weekend; perfect VRBO

This home's design, location and amenities were exactly as described. Four adult siblings and I enjoyed the beautiful views and fun game room over a long weekend. We took advantage of the close proximity to Central City, Black Hawk Casinos and Idaho Springs along with a number of fun hiking trails (including a great disc golf course). We would recommend an SUV or similar vehicle.

Spectacular Views

The description and pictures of the property were accurate. The views of the long range mountains were gorgeous. There is plenty of space for extended family and friends to have privacy. The host was extremely responsive to all communications. This has been one of our favorite rental properties.

Thanksgiving Family Stay

Beautiful home with great surroundings of the mountains. The home was more than generously equipped with all we needed for our stay and to make a Thanksgiving dinner. The location was remote but with an easy commute to town. The owner does a nice organized way of helping to understand the property and quick to respond. We’re from the mid-west so for us the views were amazing and beautiful. We’d come here again.

Wonderful choice

This property was wonderful, probably one of the best we’ve stayed in. The owners are definitely inviting you into their home rather than a rental property. The home is spacious and luxurious, the mountain views are incredible, and the details throughout reflect the owners’ effort to go the extra mile to make their guests feel pampered. Loved the added touch of robes and slippers, plenty of soft & cozy blankets, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, a welcome basket of snacks, and a very helpful leather bound guide (also available online). There is a huge game room which we fully enjoyed. Highly recommend!

Mountain-side Retreat

My family and I highly recommend a stay at this gorgeous mountain-side retreat. The property is secluded and the views are amazing. You'll watch the sunrise hit all the nearby mountains and even on a snowy or foggy morning, seeing just the treetops around you will make you feel like you're on the top of the world! The cabin isn't too big or too small, it was just right for our family of 4. There are kids amenities and a game room that they enjoyed. The modern kitchen and living space was a restful and enjoyable place to spend time together. Beds are soft and linens are cozy. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking-wares. The location is a benefit too, you're close to restaurants, shopping, groceries, gold mines, hiking, fishing, all kinds of fun in this area! We had an issue with the internet at one point (which was out of the hosts control), but Jason and Rachael reached out right away and responded quickly during communication. There were no issues, only adventure and beautiful sunrises to be had during our stay! We'll be coming back!

We love this area because it's so close and accessible to the metro area yet feels a million miles away. It's so peaceful and serene and a wonderful getaway.

The views are spectacular and the home itself is modern and comfortable. There are beautiful spaces in the home for gathering or for finding a private little cozy nook to relax. And the views from the hot tub will knock your socks off!
