Only paid parking, which was right out front and was fine. The listing failed to mention that the rental is above a restaurant, which became loudly apparent bright and early in the morning. The washing machine had mildew stains and buildup on the edge of the door, so we couldn't use them. Their condition might also explain the mildewy, expired baby formula of the towels. We could open none of the windows, and barely fit our stuff down the hallway. The listing also didn't mention the cluster of giant, bright, restaurant lighting directly beneath the unopenable bedroom window. The reason I've decided to be sp brutally honest in this review is this: in spite of all that, it was totally fine for what it was. Cheap, rough part of town, whatever. But there's no way they didn't know how broken that couch in there is. We had a very long journey. I arrived, brought everything in, and decided to finally sit down and rest. I plopped down on the couch and SMACK! I landed directly in the frame on the middle of a very broken couch. I'm worried I'm injured. They knew, they didn't care.I would strongly suggest renting from a actual humans, not whatever this j&k is. Also, definitely not a queen sized bed

I'm genuinely sorry the couch failed during your stay and that the unit didn't meet expectations. To be clear, we were not aware the couch frame was broken—had we been, it would have been repaired or replaced immediately. I've taken the unit offline to address this, along with the washer and window concerns you raised. The noise, parking, and lighting feedback is fair and the listing will be updated so future guests have a clearer picture.
The apartment itself was mostly as described and the parking situation was fine. The only real issue was how bright the rooms are at night. The apartment is downtown and there streetlights right outside the bedroom. However, there are no light diffusing curtains int he room, only white blinds, so it was pretty difficult to sleep. The host was very communicative. When you see I rated the "winery experience" as a one, that is because there was no winery experience. To be clear, I was not expecting one. This might have been a glitch on VRBO.

First, what really impressed me was the excellent communication with the staff. Any question I had or email I sent was answered in minutes. Second, the place was amazingly clean when I walked in. Third, the apartment was equipped with everything you would need to cook up meals. The oven, stovetop, microwave and all plates and utensils. I cannot speak of anything negative, because there weren't any. Thank you Roav Stays - J&K for providing a clean, quiet, and relaxing place to stay.
