Kristen was a very friendly host. The property was nicely decorated and clean. We loved the country setting. Kristen provided us with recommendations on restaurants and activities in the area while we were staying in the area for a wedding. We couldn't have picked a better location to stay. We had some down time and got to do some hiking and a castle tour during our stay, all were within 25 minutes of Kristen's place. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the beach (about 30 min away) as we came in during a powerful storm. The power went out, but the property has a generator and it kicked on right away. Highly recommend. Thank you so much for a great stay!

This location is perfect if you are looking for a quiet relaxing getaway. We are located in the country with cows across the street from us yet only 10 minutes from downtown Middletown and Wesleyan University. We are about 20 minutes from our state's capitol, Hartford; or travel South about 20-25 minutes and hit one of Connecticut's many beautiful beaches along our coastline. It's the perfect spot if you want to stay in all weekend, kick back on the couch and stream your favorite shows or movies OR you can go explore the many fine dining options nearby or local breweries/wineries. We are about 40 minutes from Mohegan Sun and about 45 minutes from Foxwoods Casino where you can always find a great concert or something fun to do!

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with our home the minute we walked into it and we hope you will too. We have been slowly renovating it and turning it into our forever home and we truly hope you feel like this is a place where you can drop your worries at the door when you arrive and simply enjoy yourselves and all our beautiful town/state have to offer; whether you're here for a night, a week or a month!
