Charming cottage in historic Granville, NY. Located minutes from the Vermont border this cottage is close to both New York and Vermont attractions. It's just 5min to Lake St Catherine, 40min to Lake George, 30min to Manchester VT, and 45minutes to an hour to Vermont ski areas. The perfect getaway for a couple or family, with two bedrooms (one with bunkbeds), dinning area, propane "wood" stove, living room, full bath, and washer & dryer. The back deck and yard are great for grilling.

Use all amenities safely. Advise in advance to use the propane "wood" stove. The fireplace does not work, do not use. Do not use outdoor fire pit.

House was very clean. Location was great because there is not many places to stay in this rural area. Access and communication was perfect. I did find the living room furniture very small, scarce, and not suitable for comfortable use and a place to relax and converse. We appreciate your hospitality.

Nice home in quaint town

Perfect little house for my husband and me to use as a home base while visiting our daughter who lives nearby in VT. Very clean, with all basic amenities. Homeowner very responsive in all communications. Would recommend, and will use for future visits if available!

Cute property great location

Cute property minutes from VT and an easy drive to Castleton to visit our college student. Very clean property and loved the immediate hot water. Kitchen was also fully stocked with supplies. Only suggestion would be to put a larger more comfy couch in living room as the small couch was hard and too tiny for husband and i to sit together. Otherwise, a great stay and would definitely book again.

Home away from home 💕

Thanks so much for providing such a warm and wonderful place to stay while visiting. The location of the home was convenient to both Vermont and close enough to lake George.... It felt like a little home away from home. There was toys for the kids to play with. Different streaming services on the tv. Wash and dryer was definitely a plus for a family of four. We cant wait to come back for another visit!!!

Property was just the right size for us. We didn't need anything fancy. It was clean, safe, easy to find. Owner extremely responsive re: two issues we had (how to lock house and figuring out wifi). Appreciated the kitchen staples, amount of towels. Only one suggestion: Bathmats for shower - non-slip in tub and absorbent one out of tub.

I would’ve given five stars for everything, except that I did not have bath soap which I would’ve brought had I known, and the hot water was only present in the kitchen sink for any period of time… The smoke alarms two of them went off at 5 AM so the batteries needed to be changed otherwise it was quite sweet and lovely

Vt and my vacation

Very nice. It is very hard to communicate with property owner because I have difficulty replying. I tried several times to put in codes but when I went to get my codes I couldn't get back to her.
