Highly recommended. I can’t say enough good things about the property. The house was immaculate, beds super comfortable and kitchen well stocked with everything you could want. Location is perfect, with secluded outdoor space to relax and only a few minutes from town. Katherine was kind, quick to answer our questions and a wonderful host. Thanks again and we’ll definitely be back!
Our family of 4 had an amazing stay here and getting to explore everything Camden has to offer. Very close to everything to the harbor, lake, and trails. Very spacious home and our kids loved playing with the dog Jingle each day. Definitely recommend for any family wanting a relaxing stay! Thank you Katherine for everything!

Thank you for such a lovely review; please come stay with us again next year.
We rented this house for 10 nights in July and wished we had stayed longer. The house is exactly as described. Very well appointed kitchen. Everything was perfect. Quiet location, yet close to town, harbor, stores and hiking/biking trails. Wonderful, friendly host; large, comfortable and peaceful patio; beautifully landscaped garden. We will definitely be back soon.
The house was perfect, the grounds were beautiful & the host was amazing. Just a lovely place to stay in every way. We hope to return to Maine & stay again.
We stayed in the Ironwood Glade Cottage in Camden, ME for our annual fishing trip on Lake Megunticook. Not only did we have easy access to the lake, the cottage was terrific. Beautifully decorated and outfitted, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was exceptionally clean, the kitchen was amazing, the two bedrooms were perfectly set up and comfortable, and the bathroom shower was great. Our hostess was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring we had anything we needed to be comfortable in the cottage. The landscaping for the front of the cottage was outstanding with beautiful stone steps, native flowers and greenery. There was a large deck in the back with comfortable seating and great views. We highly recommend and hope to visit again.

I can't say enough good things about this property. Photos are very accurate, the bed we slept in was the most comfortable bed, the pillows and bedding are over the top. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! Katherine was great and easy to get in touch with, and her dog gave us a friendly greeting when we drove in. The house was well stocked and comfortable, and we loved the kitchen. Location is amazing, close to town while still feeling secluded and quiet. Next time we are in Camden, we will definitely stay here again!
Not only was the house a great place to stay— convenient to everything in Camden, beautifully decorated, well stocked modern kitchen—Katherine, our hostess, was super nice and even turned on lights in and out when we were late returning after dark. She also put down rugs on the gravel walkway to the house as I use a walker and had trouble with the gravel. We enjoyed talking with her and her son, Owen, when we saw them outside! There is a lovely deck out back— the garden , flowers and trees all around are beautiful! It’s so peaceful and quiet! We loved our time there and would certainly stay there again!!
The rental part of the duplex cottage was charming, clean & laid out very well. The setting was beautiful, felt far from town but was actually very close. One of my fav. parts was the amount of room left open to put away personal items! Closets, drawer space and toiletries! The owner was friendly & responsive. We would love to return!
What a beautiful vacation home and a lucky find in Camden! The home is exactly as it is described in the listing. Its ideal location is nestled among the trees for privacy with a beautifully landscaped yard, a spacious deck to relax on, and a huge lawn area. It is so peaceful and quiet yet conveniently located near downtown Camden and the harbor, great restaurants and shops, surrounding lakes, and hiking trails.
Katherine is a wonderful host! She reached out with driving directions and other details prior to our arrival, and we felt welcome throughout our entire 6-week stay. She had great recommendations for restaurants, hiking, and activities.
The home is very dog-friendly, but it would be the perfect place without a furry friend as well. The house is beautifully furnished and impeccably clean. The beds and furniture are extremely comfortable. Katherine has provided everything you could possibly need during your stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with great appliances, cookware and dishes, as well as a wide variety of small kitchen appliances (everything from an Instapot to a popcorn popper).
We spent 6 weeks at Ironwood Glade Cottage, and it still didn't seem long enough. We will definitely return! Thank you Katherine for your wonderful hospitality!!
This is such a great property, and Katherine was responsive and great. The house was clean and equipped with all of the essentials. The pull out bed was a smaller size than we expected, but even still the beds were all very comfortable. Our whole group noted that the kitchen equipment, appliances and grill were far better quality than most rentals we have stayed in. Would return again or recommend to friends!
