Welcome to this newly renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment in the hillside of Avalon overlooking the Catalina Island harbor with breathtaking ocean views. Fantastic restaurants, bars and shopping are just down the hill.

Enjoy time with family and friends on your private balcony, relaxing on the outdoor bed or playing provided board games after a long day of activities.

Featuring all the amenities of home: quality mattresses, linens and pillows, a fully outfitted kitchen, TVs, plenty of towels, and washer/dryer. Additionally, provide everything you would need to enjoy the island. There are 42 steps going down from the street level. The property is conveniently located nearby a public stairway with 123 steps leading down to the City Park.

This lovely unit is part of a triplex with the middle unit being a rental, too.

QUIET HOURS: 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (use of outdoor areas strictly prohibited).

**The home is most suitable for 3 adults OR 2 adults and 1-2 small children.

The owner was outstanding and took great care of us for our 25th wedding anniversary. The golf cart was a must have and made our trip incredible with access to see the island on our timetable. I would highly recommend and we will be back.

Great location and golf cart was a big plus

We liked the place overall and the views were amazing. We really enjoyed the flexibility the golf cart provided. The only downside was that it was listed as sleeping 4, but the pull out couch is fairly small and my daughter ended up sleeping on the couch cushions on the floor. It likely should be listed as sleeping 3.The management was great and super helpful. Overall great stay.

One of a kind view

The property was just as described. Check-in was easy and communication was quick. Wi-Fi info was accurate and good connection. My two teenage daughters were able to sleep on the pull-out sofa bed (a review said it only fits one person). The golf cart was so handy and made a big difference for the trip. Waking up to that million dollar view every morning sure made it hard to leave. Locals are very friendly, we had an amazing time.

The ocean view was lovely, and the rental was very much as advertised. The location was great! Catalina is such a quirky and fun place to visit!It’s also not a cheap place to stay. My only negative was the cleanliness level. I personally have high standards for cleanliness. It is my top priority in a vacation rental. There was a lot of hair on the floor/bed. There were visible stains on the white bedding, shower curtain, and towels. There were many scuff marks on the walls and dust on the shelves. A lot of these are really cheap fixes/replacements, relative to the nightly rental cost. Also, 400 square ft should be manageable to clean well. If the unit had been cleaner, I would have given 5 stars.I believe we met the owner, who lives in the top unit and he was very nice/helpful! Overall, a fun stay!

Great stay overall

We had a great time in Catalina staying at this property. It was quite clean and had a great view. The bed was comfortable. I would note that there are very steep stairs to get to the unit that are not well lit. We arrived at night with suitcases, and it was tricky to get to the unit. Likewise, communication with the owner and company was very challenging. We tried calling the phone listed in the directions several times with no response. We left message on the emergency line and got no responses. The directions for checkout were different in the contract than what the company requested, and that was not clear to us and we were not able to get a timely response. We almost missed our boat heading back due to the confusion on checkout. The golf cart was great and clean, directions on how to leave on last day with the cart were also not clear, we rushed to fill gas on last day and had to hike down with our suitcase quickly. Overall great stay, but would recommend improved instructions that align between contract and the text messages being sent, and better communication and response. The unit was very pricey, so expected better communication.
