Nestled among tall trees atop a hill, with an expansive yard and acres to explore behind the house, Brindlewood has 3 BRs, 2 decks, a patio, and room to sleep 8 - perfect for any type of stay.
Less than 2.5 hours from Brooklyn and <5 min to Millerton's Main St. 30 min to Hudson, or Great Barrington in the Berkshires. Hike, ski, shop, or just relax and enjoy the best of upstate life without the crowds and fuss.
The space
The property has been updated with thought and care. There is plenty of parking at the top of the recently re-paved driveway. Outdoor spaces include a covered deck with a breakfast set, hammock, and porch chairs; a side deck with a grill and comfy seating; and a back patio with a table and chairs underneath a shady tree.
Inside, the updated kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, gas oven/stovetop, microwave, and more. Enjoy breakfast at the counter or take a seat at the table in the dining room, which seats 6 and expands with a leaf to fit 8. The dining room flows into the living area, which features a smart TV and a modular couch that can be rearranged to a bed. The living area has a wall-mounted A/C unit, and the whole house is on a Nest system for heating.
Down the hallway are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has 2 twin beds and Bedroom 2 has a queen bed. The two rooms share a hallway bathroom with a shower tub. Bedroom 3 has a king bed and an en suite bathroom with a standing shower. All rooms have spacious closets, wall hooks, and fans.
In the basement, an office has a deck, chair, and futon. Linens, towels, and shower supplies are provided, and the home is equipped with a washer/dryer.
