About the Property
Family home with vineyard views for up to 24 people
The homes can sleep 24 overnight with futons, shared bedrooms/baths and can host an additional 12 day-guests for additional fees. The VRBO rate calculator does not always calculate larger groups and extra guest fees correctly. When using the rate calculator, please be sure to enter the total number of guests and in your email inquiry please specify whether double or single occupancy and number of required beds and private bedrooms. Because there are two separate houses available for guests we can sometimes accommodate smaller groups when availability allows, particularly on weeknights or short notice, but always we prioritize larger groups utilizing both homes at the same time when considering advance reservation scheduling particularly in the high and holiday seasons. We keep the VRBO calendar updated so please check our availability. It is always best to send a VRBO email request so we can work out scheduling and a budget according to your specific needs, whether it be family reunions, birthday and anniversary celebrations, corporate off-sites, overnight meetings, sporting events, wine tasting tours, or longer term retreats. We are not able to host large events with more than 36 total persons on-site.
We give precedence to weekly bookings and larger groups. During the month of January, we begin to confirm weekly reservation requests for both homes for the summer and fall. Once the first weekly requests have been accommodated confirmed and scheduled, we will attempt to fit in shorter 3-day minimum bookings. We will consider and accept two-day and short notice bookings occasionally if they can fit within and around other weekly reservations. We appreciate your patience as we work to best accommodate the many hosting requests we are receiving.
The B Vineyards & Habitat Estate house is a very large, well-loved Mediterranean style family home with high ceilings, open floor-plan, galleries, courtyards, outdoor dining & living space. The home is perfect for hosting family reunions, business meetings, healing, educational, and fine art retreats and corporate off-sites. While the estate house is not a contemporary "Luxury" residence, it is expansive, warm and open with modest 1990s style finishes, quarry tile dining gallery and kitchen and carpeted bedrooms and alcoves. The main wing of the estate home features 2 private and 1 shared bedroom with multiple beds, 4+ bathrooms and a large dining gallery with family-style kitchen, a large gallery style interior, media room, wine & coffee bar. The home also has two 2 curtained sleeping alcoves furnished w/European style convertible sofas and three twin beds that are great for kids or singles. The home is situated on a knoll overlooking bucolic vineyards, a large trellised pool, a private recreational lake used for boating, water skiing, paddling, canoeing and swimming; the Atascadero creek, and a vibrant wildlife and riparian habitat.
Our original mid-century retro-style ranch farmhouse is also available for hosting additional guests for large groups. The farmhouse reflects the historic use of the property as a dairy farm for over 69 years and is just steps away down a path from the main estate house. The home has 5 guest bedrooms, (2 king w/ ensuite baths, 2 queens w/ shared bath, and one double with shared bath & utility shower. It is surrounded by Redwoods, cypress, and an adjacent fruit orchard and has a small parking lot outside the gate. Farmhouse guests share use of the main estate pool and spa when both homes are rented by the same group. All guests and residents share access to private lake, and walking & biking trails.
Our property is situated just 2 miles northwest of Sebastopol, minutes away from the towns of Graton, Santa Rosa, Occidental, North of Petaluma in the heart of world class organic cuisine, restaurants, wineries, farms, produce markets, & organic food producers. Access to the Sonoma coast beaches, Russian River, Sonoma wine Appellations, is minutes away and just 60 miles from SFO. Walking and cycling opportunities abound with many cycling events and tours passing the property directly. The Joe Rodota walking/biking trail is adjacent to the north vineyards.
The owner/managers reside on the property and are available by email prior to your stay. They will be available by phone during your stay should you have any issues or questions. Shaun and Sera offer concierge services for groups and can assist with logistics, tours, meals, catering, and produce/alcohol shopping for a rate of $45/hr. Rates are based on double occupancy (i.e. 2 persons per bed). For single occupancy, (i.e. 1 person/bed) a $500 laundry surcharge will be assessed. Based on the total number of persons in your group, we will provide you with either one or both homes in order to stay within the scope of our permits. A 9% TOT tax will apply to all reservations.
We write our own hosting contracts which must be signed, and all fees are payable in advance to confirm your reservation. Payable by check or wire transfer. Credit Cards accepted with a service charge. Security deposit to be paid at least 3 days prior to arrival. Security deposit: a hold will be placed on a Credit Card through PayPal. This will be billed separately from your reservation.

One or more of the three is always available onsite to help with the logistics and details of your wine country getaway and to help with planning your recreational activities, family photos, events and working retreats.
