Lakeside 3 bed townhome w/ private beach access!

You will love this family-friendly, private community with beach access, pool, hot tub and clubhouse! Akiskinook is on the sunny side of the lake and has been a valley favorite destination for decades.

Our three bedroom, two bath, townhome is perfect for getaways in all seasons. Sleeps 6 adults and 2 small children (crib and pack and play).

Summer is ideal for long days on the private, sandy beach. Spend your time floating on the dock, a paddleboard or rent a boat. There is plenty of hiking nearby as well.

There are multiple hot springs a short drive away which are great both summer and winter. Commercial hotsprings include Radium and Fairmont. There are several natural hotsprings in the area as well.

The town of Invermere is a short 10 minute drive for all your essentials. Our favorites include the delicious bakery, tea store and Stolen Church ice cream.

Winter brings abundant outdoor activities with Akiskinook being right off BC's "Powder Highway". Fairmont and Panorama are both less than 30 minutes from your door. The world's longest outdoor skating track is accessible from the beach! Not to mention cross country skiing and snowshoeing.

After a day outside you will love coming home to the well stocked and very comfortable townhome. Cook dinner in your updated kitchen and have some drinks on the patio!

We enjoyed the condo, it had lots of room for the family and enjoyed having the wood burning fire place. The pool, hot tub plus the recreational facility was amazing and we used it everyday.Host was excellent in getting information about activities in the area.

Love this property and the Askiskinook facility! So much to do here with the lake, the pool/hot tub, games room, ski hills and more! We would recommend staying, we will definitely be back!

Fun-filled family vacation

Cozy Condo

This condo is very clean, very cozy. We really enjoyed our stay here. There was everything we needed. The property was great. The Rec centre had lots for families to do. The hosts were super easy to deal with and super friendly. We would 100% recommend this property.

Nice condo near Invermere

Nice spacious and clean property with most things you’d need for a comfortable stay. Short drive from Invermere, Radium and Fairmont hot springs. Private beach and loads of fun things nearby. Great local recommendations in the welcome book. Host clearly communicates and is proactive. Had a great time.

Absolutely lovely stay

We stayed with 5 adults and 2 kids and we had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful, comforts, and very well stocked. There’s was everything we could need for our time away for both adults and kids. Janine and Ryan were wonderful hosts and were great at communicating. They even sent us a number of events that were happening at Akiskinook during our stay. I highly recommend staying here on your next vacation to Windermere!

Great family holiday!

The owners were super communicative and responsive. We received great check in instructions and tips ahead of time. The home was clean and well stocked with towels, dishes and extras like beach toys. The lake was perfect! We were down in the water everyday. The lids spent every evening at the indoor pool. They were exhausted (perfect)! We would stay here again!

Thank you to the hosts for a wonderful anniversary mini holiday! The place was very clean and hosts were accessible immediately for any questions we had. It had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare a couple meals “at home”, bathrooms were well stocked, and extra blankets and pillows if necessary in the bedrooms. We were here the first week of June, so not quite summer, and no air conditioning yet available, but the cool air from the lake in the evening made it comfortable with an open window. We enjoyed the clean and well maintained recreation room where we went swimming and in the hot tub a few evenings. Wonderful restaurants in Windermere and Invermere. My only comment would be that the decks outside needing cleaning, but we spent a bit of time sweeping and wiping down the table and chairs/bench of the main living room, and had a couple nice evenings enjoying the quiet with a glass of wine. Thank you for a great anniversary celebration.

The pictures of the inside of the home are very accurate. I forgot to ask if there was AC and there was not. 1 fan was provided which is not enough. The interior of the home was clean and bright. However, the lower outer deck we needed to clean before we could use it. The upper deck had not yet been cleaned since fall and was disgusting dirty, there was no way to use it... a broom laying on the floor to trip over, and furniture still covered from winter. The entry to the unit had 10 steps to get into it, which we expected, BUT they were poorly lit and much steeper than common stairs. What the owner did not tell us is that we had to go down 2 flights of stairs from the parking lot to get to the unit before going back up 10 to 12 to the home. For accessible challenged this was very difficult. The boat launch,,is tight, and we mean very tight. Hard for a 30 yr experienced driver to maneuver a boat in and out without hitting docs. All we spoke to agreed. The Rec Room is amazing but again one must be a mountain goat to use it....stairs and a few minute walk down....then once in, there is no access to outdoors even though there is a sunroom and doors (emergency only) off of the hot tub area. Could just be so much better. The community is a condo managed community and from our experience caters to cookie cutter small living. Not our cup of tea. PS Beach is private to area and not the homeowner.

Took my kids to BC over Easter, the host goes above and beyond to have all sorts of things available. Kitchen has everything we needed for a five day stay and so much more. Toys and books to entertain my little. Instructions were clear, a great welcome book that explained and highlighted a ton of things. Swimming pool and hot tub were functional and easy to access. Good size rooms and lovely decks to enjoy the gorgeous scenery from.
