Tucked into the rolling hills of Amish country, the newly-constructed Middlehaven offers an escape from the city and a chance to connect with the folks who matter most.

YOUR LARGE GROUP (& FIDO) ARE WELCOMED HERE
Middlehaven has room for everyone including:
✔The Main House 5 bedrooms (sleeps 15)
✔The Loft Apartment 1 bedroom (sleeps 6- addition cost $200/night)
✔The Conservatory 1 bedroom (sleeps 2- additional cost $150/night)

For groups of 15 or less, The Main House offers 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, giving you ample space to spread out comfortably in English Cottage-style accommodations.

For groups of 16+, The Loft Apartment offers additional sleeping arrangements for up to 6 other people.

Want more privacy and romance? Add The Conservatory to your stay and get a private space with a king bed, double shower, and a soaking clawfoot tub for two. A stocked kitchenette and private deck easily make for slow mornings with coffee in hand.

A: We are minutes away from Dover, New Philadelphia, and Ohio’s largest Amish community. Nearby attractions include:

Q: What about COVID?
A: We are taking extra precautions to keep our properties disinfected, which includes the use of disinfectant on all door knobs, light switches, railings, faucet handles, etc... in addition to all high-use areas.

A: Well behaved pets are welcome with well behaved owners. Pets do need to be pre-approved and there is an additional $100/per pet fee.

Perfect getaway

The owners of this property have truly thought of everything to make your stay the most relaxing, most fun, most special! This was our second year spending NYE with extended family at Middlehaven, and it won’t be our last. Highlights: relaxing in the hot tub, walking the property with our dogs, air hockey and arcade game tournaments, talking around the huge table that fit all 12 of us.

This is the most impressive stay so far. You will need or want for nothing. The home is beautiful emwith a fully stocked kitchen. There is plenty of room for a large group. There are tables and chairs that can sest everyone in the game room to host a large game tournament.

Far exceeded our expectations!

We gathered at Middlehaven and the Conservatory for an early family Christmas gathering. The property is beautiful! Rose is an excellent host and covers every detail. Our stay was Perfect!

This was our 3rd stay at Middlehaven. It is rare we can get together with our 5 children and their families all at once in one spot. Middlehaven is perfect for our family to enjoy meals and all the wonderful amenities. I Love sitting back and watching my grown children interact with each other like no time has passed. Clean, Comfortable, Convenient

We had a fantastic stay! The home was absolutely gorgeous, spotless, and had the perfect amount of space and activities for everyone—from kids ages 3 to 12 to six adults. It was well-equipped and close to lots of local attractions, making it a great home base. Highly recommend!

Everything about Middlehaven and our host rose was 5 stars. I can’t say enough about this property. Rose knows how to make her guests feel welcome- from the chocolate chip cookies and smores to the dog supplies - everything was above and beyond. I’ve never stayed at a property that was so accommodating and stocked. She doesn’t just allow you to stay at her properties she tries to make sure you have everything you need and more. I would come to Dover just to stay at one of her properties. The house and grounds were exceptional!

Wonderful home for families

Middlehaven was everything it was meant to be. We have a large family (ages pre-born to 73) and everyone had their own space. We enjoyed family time of meals, games and relaxing. The children loved both ponds, the waterfall and the game room. Rose is an expert at thinking about all the needs of her guests. The cookies, tote bag, little surprise box, etc were all appreciated. What a wonderful weekend we had! Middlehaven is a beautiful home and the property had everything we needed to make our stay perfect! The beds were very comfortable, every guest slept so peacefully. The house was so clean and spacious. And provided so much space and comfort for our entire group. The amenities were amazing! The hosts were unlike any I’ve encountered. Everything was so incredibly smooth from booking to departure.... Anytime had questions or concerns prior & during our stay, they were responded to very quickly. This was one of if not the best we have ever stayed at. There is space for everyone and something for everyone to do. The communication is amazing and the house has everything you need. The house and property were incredible. We had 12 people and 2 dogs for 2 nights - and we felt at home. Rose thought of absolutely everything for the house. Only a few minutes from grocery stores/restaurants but you feel like you’re in your own world. Will definitely be back!

Spring break getaway

This place was absolutely perfect! The host have put a lot of time and effort into making your stay as pleasant as it can be, and they know what they’re doing! Beyond Expectations!

Our family of 23 had an exceptional stay at Middlehaven. The space was immaculately clean, well decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, from local recommendations to thoughtful little touches in the living area and around the property. The location was perfect— quiet, yet close to everything we may need. We could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
