The VRBO was a wonderful spacious home for our family to stay. We enjoyed a beautiful campfire by the lake with our grandchildren. Also, our 6 year old grandson learned how to kayak. The game room above the garage was also a great time. Lots of fun was had!
Great space to get together and catch up, yet also big enough if you needed a little alone time.Loved the flat iron grill outside, the game room, and the well stocked kitchen.
I would like to let you know that we had a wonderful time in many ways. We even had room in the yard to play games. Many of us used the kayaks, the games above the garage, playing basketball, fishing…we also enjoyed the sandy public beach and the public playground. I should also mention that the neighbors were very kind and friendly. And it was obvious that the people in the neighborhood were very careful as they drove nearby—Conscious of children. SO SENDING THANKS FROM THE OFSTEDAHLS!
We came for a family gathering, coming from Alaska, Colorado, and Minnesota. The house was perfect for our group. We had two year olds to 70-year-olds and it was the perfect set up. Gregory is an awesome host, very responsive and accommodating. The house is beautifully equipped. We cooked dinners for our group of 11 and had everything we needed. We walked to the swimming beach, to town, and The Cool Wave coffee shop. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this wonderful property.
Beautiful property. Much needed week away with family and young grandchildren. We were able to take advantage of the location. Local parks for the grand daughters and a field trip to the Schell’s Brewery for the adults. Two lakes to enjoy. One close by and the other very close. Local Kamp Dells is one of the best area resorts that does Day Passes during the week for fun and games.Space in yard allowed for us to have yard games and water table for the littles. Porch provided area out of the sun, and the game room above the garage was great for late night entertainment for adults.Much more house than our group needed, but 2 yr old grand daughter LOVED “her” Winnie the Pooh room and her birthday party while we were there. We were having difficulty finding property that would allow family pets, and were excited to find this one.Excellent communication from owner before booking, before our stay and during the stay. Thank you Greg!
House was perfect size to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary. When booking be aware the price is for 4 people. For every additional person there is a charge at the end. We needed this location so even though I tried to look for something cheaper there wasn’t much. The kids LOVED the game room. It was great for a rainy day to keep them busy and the stereo was perfect. Kids had fun fishing and caught a few walleye and sunfish but the lake is not the best for swimming. It gets very green and we even saw blue green algae. Took a walk to the public beach and it was ok but didn’t look great so we opted to go to camp dells for swimming. Some rooms had good curtains and shades while others barely had anything so if you want to sleep in it can be hard when the sun rises early.
We booked this property because it was reasonably priced for the size, and we were pleased to find it had everything we needed and more. The beds were not the most comfortable, and there were a few cobwebs and spiders (to be expected near the lake), but it definitely met our expectations! Would stay again.
First off, the house is wonderful. Huge kitchen, wonderful living room which is a great hang out, and the porches are really nice too.
Tons of bedrooms and all of them are really nice.
Greg is great to work with. Check in and out was simple. We will definitely stay here again!
Enjoyed this home very much. It has a great living room to sit and visit as well as a game room so we could spread out. Close to the lake, short distance to a swimming beach. Property owner was easy to reach and responded in a timely manner. We had a very relaxing weekend.
The facility was awesome. Very thoughtful hosts. Everything was so well stocked. We had a wedding in the area and had the wedding attendants staying here and they waved about the location and facility. We would highly recommend!
Four Morgan siblings had a mini reunion back in Southern MN, where our father grew up and we used to vacation every summer 50-60 years ago. Nice big house, close to, but not on, the lake (as the ad seemed to imply). But very happy with our stay. If and when we head back to MN in the future, I would look for this property again, and isn't that the bottom line? And don't worry, the game room does have pool cues, even though the ad says to bring your own. Recommended.
Communication was excellent with the owner. The home was very comfortable spacious and just had that homey feeling. We had a very busy weekend with the wedding. I wish we had more time to enjoy the home and the neighborhood. This will definitely be our first choice if we are back in the area.
Communication with the host was excellent and the spacious five bedroom home provided a great place to have your own space as well gathering places. The garage loft with foosball, billiards, Pac-Man, game table, couches, and a vintage pinball machine was enjoyed by all. An "open" kitchen (ability to use spices and access to all pans/appliances, etc.) was a real plus for our five-day stay which included two nearby family reunions. we would definitely stay here again!
Our whole family had a great time during our long weekend in this large home by the lake. We enjoyed the fire pit by the dock, the beautiful public beach, the game room above the garage, the gathering places for meals, conversations/games and the space to spread out for sleeping. The long back porch was a special treat, too! Situated in a quiet town on two lakes, not far from the Cities, it was the perfect location.
This place was perfect for our family gathering. Everyone had plenty of room to hang-out . The homeowner was very responsive on any questions that we had. The lake across the street was great for the younger kids in the family to enjoy. We cooked on the grill and sat out on the back deck. The neighborhood was quiet. this was a 5-star rating, don't wait! book this place!
Overall we loved the house and the area. The back porch was our favorite place to spend time, even in the rain! The game room was great for hanging out and despite the major flooding in the area, we were still able to get out on the lake and enjoy the kayaks. Greg was a fantastic host and was very responsive to my questions throughout the weekend.
Our only complaint was that the living room and game room did not have sofa beds as was advertised in the listing so we had less beds than expected.

HI. My name is Greg Wilmes, and I own and operate P, B, & J Rental (named for my 3 children [Peyton, Brooke, and Jon] located in Waterville, MN. I grew up here on Lake Tetonka resort property my parents purchased back in the 1960s. After graduating from Waterville-Elysian High and St. Olaf College, I taught and coached for 10 years at Minnewaska Area and STMA High Schools. I then moved back to Waterville to purchase some of my parents’ property and started a residential construction business. The first garage and home I built is the one you’ll be enjoying when you come stay with us in Waterville! I love sharing our beautiful and nostalgic little town with anyone looking for a good time and beautiful lakes, trails, and people. Welcome to Waterville and our twin lakes—Tetonka and Sakatah.
Why they chose this property
I chose to build my home in the nostalgic little town of Waterville because I was born and raised here and absolutely love all of the beautiful lakes, trails, resorts, and people that call this place HOME.
