Beautiful large 6 bedroom corner home with Lake Tetonka boat access capable of sleeping up to 18. The public beach is a 200 yard walk over a wooden bridge that crosses the beginnings of the Cannon River. Close to downtown and to Sakatah State Trail for biking and hiking. Many lakes close by for fishing and boating. Small hometown feel. Also close to largest waterpark in southern Minnesota less than 1 mile away at Kamp Dels. There is a dock, lakeside fire pit, and 6 kayaks available. We also have a 660 square foot game room above the garage complete with sofa bed, love seat, billiard table, card tables, air hockey, and a 1952 wood rail pinball machine. Bring your swim suits, pool cues, and life jackets and enjoy!

My family spent Thanksgiving weekend together in the house and it was amazing! Not only was the house itself everything we could have wanted, but Greg went above and beyond. I have never worked with a host who was as friendly, welcoming, & accommodating! Even with a blizzard, I would highly recommend!!!!

The house was fully supplied, more kitchen tools then we have seen in other nightly rentals. Although we were there for a quick family trip in the winter...we enjoyed what we could. So no reviews on the outdoor activiites. It was appropriate and roomy and had extra blankets and pillows too. Host did a great job communicating with us.

We had 15 people stay. Room for everyone to sleep, that was great! There was little room for kitchen/non refrigerated food supplies we brought. Other then that the kitchen was completely stocked with all needed pots and pans etc. We had rainy days so stayed inside or used the game room. We all had a good time! Thanks Greg

Great family destination!!!

This is a great family vacation destination! We were looking forward to kayaking. I expected only two kayaks. What a surprise to find six kayaks available for our use! We spent many hours kayaking, not to mention spending time in this beautiful house. I highly recommend this property.

The VRBO was a wonderful spacious home for our family to stay. We enjoyed a beautiful campfire by the lake with our grandchildren. Also, our 6 year old grandson learned how to kayak. The game room above the garage was also a great time. Lots of fun was had!

We had a fabulous family stay at this VRBO. Greg was a great host, there was plenty of room and it was a great location. The weather couldn't have been better! We booked this because of the number of rooms, location and the game room with pool table. We didn't know that Elvis would be there, but that was just a bonus, as Mom is a bit Elvis fan! We did a wonderful tour with Ella of the Faribault Woolen Mill and had a picnic at the state park near Waterville. We even caught the ice cream truck that went thru the neighborhood. We spent quality family time talking and playing games. A vacation we won't forget!! Thank you Greg and the Wilmes family!

Great Family Vacation

I would like to let you know that we had a wonderful time in many ways. We even had room in the yard to play games. Many of us used the kayaks, the games above the garage, playing basketball, fishing
we also enjoyed the sandy public beach and the public playground. I should also mention that the neighbors were very kind and friendly. And it was obvious that the people in the neighborhood were very careful as they drove nearby—Conscious of children. SO SENDING THANKS FROM THE OFSTEDAHLS!

Absolutely Fabulous!

We came for a family gathering, coming from Alaska, Colorado, and Minnesota. The house was perfect for our group. We had two year olds to 70-year-olds and it was the perfect set up. Gregory is an awesome host, very responsive and accommodating. The house is beautifully equipped. We cooked dinners for our group of 11 and had everything we needed. We walked to the swimming beach, to town, and The Cool Wave coffee shop. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this wonderful property.

The house was large and homey. It has some quirks, but was very nice for our large group. The beds are very soft, and the water can get scalding hot. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with spices/dry goods/ and a good assortment of cookware. A nice selection of fun plates that my toddler enjoyed. The location is great for access to Kamp Dels and downtown. We appreciated the lake access and dock, but found better swimming a quick drive away at Lake Francis. Our group enjoyed the easy access to bike trails and big green space. The game room was awesome and nice that it is separate from the main house. Greg was a very responsive host and we had a great time in Waterville.

Great Bang for your Buck

We booked this property because it was reasonably priced for the size, and we were pleased to find it had everything we needed and more. The beds were not the most comfortable, and there were a few cobwebs and spiders (to be expected near the lake), but it definitely met our expectations! Would stay again.

Fantastic house, great property Manager too!

First off, the house is wonderful. Huge kitchen, wonderful living room which is a great hang out, and the porches are really nice too. Tons of bedrooms and all of them are really nice. Greg is great to work with. Check in and out was simple. We will definitely stay here again!

My name is Greg Wilmes, and I own and operate P, B, & J Rental (named for my 3 children [Peyton, Brooke, and Jon] located in Waterville, MN. I grew up here on Lake Tetonka resort property my parents purchased back in the 1960s. After graduating from Waterville-Elysian High and St. Olaf College, I taught and coached for 10 years at Minnewaska Area and STMA High Schools. I then moved back to Waterville to purchase some of my parents’ property and started a residential construction business. The first garage and home I built is the one you’ll be enjoying when you come stay with us in Waterville! I love sharing our beautiful and nostalgic little town with anyone looking for a good time and beautiful lakes, trails, and people. Welcome to Waterville and our twin lakes—Tetonka and Sakatah.

I chose to build my home in the nostalgic little town of Waterville because I was born and raised here and absolutely love all of the beautiful lakes, trails, resorts, and people that call this place HOME.

Our rental home offers 6 (actually 8 separate sleeping spaces) bedrooms that comfortably sleep 12-18 people, a 700 square foot game room above the detached garage, and lake views and access to beautiful Lake Tetonka (with private boat/pontoon
landing) and Lake Sakatah where you can enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, and boating. We also have a public beach right around the corner, and easy access to the Sakatah State Park and Sakatah State Trail. Kamp Del’s also offers day passes to the largest outdoor water park in southern Minnesota just 1 mile away from our home.
