nice cozy house, had pretty much everything we needed. Wall heater didn't work but host was quick to bring a portable by. Parking isn't the easiest for a full size truck but we made it work. Overall a good stay.

Stayed 2 nights, place was not clean. Did not provide coffee, paper towels, iron or blow dryer. Rug in living area smelled like pee, (maybe because it’s dog friendly) but my puppies are trained and well kept.. also walls and baseboards of home are filthy like they have never been cleaned. Place has a lot of potential, if they cared about the place. The hardwood floors have screws popping out of them. The parking space was really hard to get in and out of with a full size truck, neighbors are nice and willing to move their cars to make it easier. Esmeralda is very responsive, but will definitely not be staying there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little Vrbo cottage! The atmosphere was peaceful, quaint, and truly felt like a home away from home. It had everything our family needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts provided plenty of cookware, bathroom linens, and toiletries, which made settling in so easy.One thing we really appreciated was the sense of community throughout the home. Previous guests had left behind pantry items, and we were able to use some during our stay. In return, we also left food behind for the next family. It created a very thoughtful and welcoming experience that made the space feel lived in with care.Our children thoroughly enjoyed the private backyard, especially the fire pit and grill area. It was the perfect setup for relaxing family evenings together.The restroom was well maintained, and while there was a slight urine smell at times, the hosts thoughtfully provided Glade plug-ins throughout the space, which helped freshen things up.Overall, this was a five-star stay for our family. Peaceful, accommodating, family-friendly, and full of charm. We would absolutely stay again!

Awesome stay

We stayed before and after our cruise. Esmeralda was very accommodating. Went above and beyond. She provided a portable ac and an extra couch when we returned. This worked great, allowed my wife a space to work for the day. Will definitely stay again next time we’re in LA.

Twin bed was on cinderblocks holding it up. Hot water didnt work on arrival. Maintenance came to fix it but took our parking so i had to park down the street.around the block.

Terrible visit, but house had potential. Bathroom was dirty , no clean linen including towels . Host did not respond to request of broken toilet seat. Vurbo would not help , poor customer service!! Furniture extremely dirty, could only sit bed. No pillow cases on pillows. First time and last time booking through Expedia and Vurbo. Couldn’t enjoy my two nights stay!!!😡😡😡😡

It is a rough around the edges house in the Dairy neighborhood of Long Beach neighborhood. First about the positives. Esmeralda, the host, was quick to respond to our messages(she had provided wrong code for a lockbox so we could not enter the house; luckily, the responded very quickly with a correct code- we very much appreciated the quickness of her response). The house was mostly clean, except for the bathroom tub and had most of basic necessities, except for a shampoo. The neighbor living next door in a similar house was very friendly during our check in process and showed us where the lockbox was.A few negatives. The queen bed has a very average mattress so people with back pain might have some issues. The neighborhood is pretty loud during evening/ early night hours- there were frequent noises (of loud fireworks?) that sounded almost like shotgun fire. Since the house lacks AC, we had to sleep with out windows open so it bothered us a tiny bit. The house gets pretty hot during summer.We probably will not return but the house is an option for a stay in the Dairy neighborhood of Long Beach.
