Welcome to Buckshot's Bunkhouse, a cozy Wyoming cabin ideally located in the scenic Wapiti Valley between Cody and Yellowstone National Park. Perfect for a couple's getaway, this thoughtfully updated bunkhouse now features Starlink internet, allowing you to stay connected while still enjoying the quiet beauty of the surrounding landscape. Set on five acres with sweeping mountain views and frequent wildlife sightings, this peaceful retreat offers an authentic taste of the West just 30 minutes from both Yellowstone adventures and the charm of downtown Cody.
Inside, the 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin blends rustic character with comfort. The open living, dining, and kitchen area is filled with unique Western décor, creating a warm and inviting space to unwind after a day of exploring. The bedroom features a comfortable queen bed and ample storage, while a writing desk invites you to slow down and take in the expansive views of the valley. The bathroom adds to the experience with a custom walk-in shower and a one-of-a-kind whiskey barrel sink, bringing a touch of craftsmanship to your stay.
Buckshot's Bunkhouse encourages you to unplug and take in the natural surroundings, whether that's enjoying a star-filled Wyoming night, spotting wildlife nearby, or simply breathing in the mountain air. Cook up dinner on the outdoor gas grill after a day of adventure. If you're traveling with another couple, consider booking the neighboring Ranger's Cabin as well. With its prime location, modern connectivity, and true Western atmosphere, Buckshot's Bunkhouse is a memorable home base for your Cody and Yellowstone adventure.
*This property does not have AC. At night temperatures drop to the 55 or 60 degrees and low to no humidity, opening windows at night cools the property down and lets in the fresh mountain air!

*Also Note, the Owner lives onsite in separate cabin, the bunkhouse is approximately 150 feet from the owners main home. This cabin is set up for adults only, no children or pets allowed please. ATV, UTV, dirt bikes are prohibited on the property.

Beautiful location

Such a beautiful location and wonderful cabin. Clean and plenty of room. Also, a well stocked kitchen was helpful for us. We sat outside to eat and look at the scenery. So great!

Yellowstone Gateway base camp

Property had all conveniences we needed and in a perfect location. I stayed in west Yellowstone at last visit and this side is much less crowded even in peak season. The property is decorated nicely with western themes and beautiful views. Cody has plenty to offer during evenings and the nite rodeo was fun as well.

Perfect

The bunkhouse was perfect for us as a base. We stayed 6 nights and visited Yellowstone, Cody and fishing. It’s beautiful and comfy. We did take a fan because it’s been so hot.

Extremely Cute

The bunkhouse was so unique. We enjoyed all the whimsical touches. My most favorite part was waking up and looking out the window at the mountains. It had a few minor foibles, but its pluses greatly outweighed them.
