Our 2nd year staying here for a family trip/reunion. The back yard (with a baby gate we brought) was secure for the dogs. The AC kept the house cool when it got hot outside. Enough space. Very cozy. Drive was big enough to hold all 3 cars. Fire pit was available although we didn’t use it. Communication with Shawn was great.

This place was a great location to trails and enough space for the four of us. Just note, no air conditioning downstairs (upstairs window unit only) which I didn’t read thoroughly so it was quite warm downstairs. The backyard has a fence but no gate to keep the dog in. Basic essentials were provided but any extra essentials (like measuring cups) for cooking would need to be brought. Lots of parking for extra vehicle/trailer/ATVs. Great communication and fast response of the host. Beds were comfortable, space was clean and adequate for what we were looking for.

The host was friendly and communicative when I had a question, which was a positive. Unfortunately this stay was not pleasant. The home itself was not what I would consider clean - it smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke and car air fresheners placed around the house to mask the smell (?). A few moments after entering I saw a mouse scurry across the floor and hid under the washing machine. There was also mouse droppings in the cutlery drawer which stored the knives and cooking supplies. There was considerable amounts of dog hair

Perfect parking and plenty of room.

Clean, spacious house. We had 4 adults and 2 kids staying but the place could easily fit more people. Close to the beach and stores. We were very happy with our stay.

Our go to place in St Helen

We have stayed here multiple times now. Perfect for two couples coming up to ride our RZRs. The washer and dryer are great & allows us to pack light. We even had a visitor each day (an orange cat!) who was super sweet and loving. We will always look to rent this place first!

Nice weekend stay

I really enjoyed my stay here. The property was just as listed. The house had everything you would need. The king size bed was comfortable.The check in process was simple as can be. The location was perfect for hitting the trails and going into town for restaurants or gas/groceries. The driveway was large and paved. I would definitely stay here again

This place has become our preferred spot in St Helen for our RZR trips. Basically a straight shot to the trails with a gas station along the way! Wide open floorplan… washer and dryer help tremendously so you can pack a little lighter and the garage is a huge bonus to park the machines at night. We made friends with an orange cat during our trip in April and he stopped by to say hi again this time : ). Already planning a trip for October!

Great location!

House was everything we needed for our weekend RZR riding! Loved having a garage to keep the machines in at night! And having a washer and dryer allows us to pack light! Straight shot to and from the trails!

Close to ORV trails

Shawn was great to work with. House was clean and perfect size for a long weekend of trail riding. Plenty of driveway space for truck, trailer, and side by side. Restaurants close as well a gas station.

House was exactly as pictured. I was nervous bedroom one pic was the front room but there is a room with a large closet on the first floor Lol! Futon in front room. Place was clean and spacious. We were very grateful to be able to bring our dogs who enjoyed the trip. Yard was big. We didn’t use them but fire pit and grill were available. Place was close to our family. AC helped us cool down and sleep at night. Thank you!!

Nice accommodations!

This cottage had lots of room and a nice yard for the dogs. There was a small gap in the fence but we had a moveable fence we brought with us that filled the spot easily! We enjoyed our stay and this was a good location in between Houghton Lake (love Buccilli's Pizza) and Higgins Lake (Beechwood is a nice new brunch place). The frig made weird noises like an alarm but still seemed to function fine. We will stay here again if we are in the area. Thanks!
