When you book the Seawall Perch, you are booking our home away from home, and the view will take your breath away. You will be on the privately owned condominium side of the San Luis Resort Beachfront Hotel Spa and Conference Center. Key access is required at ALL entry points for added security. Directly from the condominium elevator, you can walk into the hotel lobby. You can shop, swim, eat, enjoy a cocktail, relax, walk down the Seawall, go to the beach, and even work out. You can enjoy all the San Luis Resort has to offer, including room service! Phydias is our resident macaw. He has been living at the hotel since 1991. He enjoys socializing with guests and giving "hello" and "goodbye" greetings. Meet him on your next visit!

Look through the photos to see all the little extras included for your enjoyment while you stay. There is a coin-operated washer and dryer just across the hall as well as the elevators. This is our only rental property, and we want everyone to enjoy it as much as we do.

The room and condo area of the resort was very dated. Had some upgrades done like the shower/tub area but it was not very well done. The add is misleading on the quality of the room. Also the A/C system struggles to keep the room cool. With these things noted the price is not worth what you get.

We had such a great time at the Seawall Perch! Perfect getaway for us. The San Louis restaurants are great, and it was nice having everything so close. We will most definitely be back.

We had an awesome time! It was a great place! Only complaint would be the bathtub was hard to get in and out of. Thank you for letting us stay and enjoy the resort! It was so much fun!

The resort is loaded with amenities to fill your time with while on vacation and is just minutes from restaurants and other activities as well as friendly staff. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to stay in Galveston!

This VRBO needs to be shut down until they figure out all the problems that the unit has.Host is rude and doesn’t care to respond if they respond at all.We booked 2 nights for nearly 1300 for a family of 2 adults and a 17 year old. We arrived to the unit to find the front door lock keypad broken and we were only provided with one key and FOB. The host told us a secret way to find a hidden extra key and fob in the unit. Without a key fob you can’t go anywhere in the resort! So I guess they expect everyone to stay together at all times.The unit was not clean and it has water damage on the ceiling and mold smell.In the master bathroom we were greeted by a wet rag that was left over the shower head from previous guests I assume.The master bedroom is missing the main blinds so unless if you like waking up at sunrise every day,this is a major problem! We messaged the host and got no responses. So for 2 nights we had to wake up at sunrise every day.The mattress in the master bedroom feels like an air mattress and it makes the few hours that you sleep before the sun rises even more terrible.The outside balcony has beautiful views but the rusted broken furniture makes it impossible to enjoy.Taking a shower in the bath is almost impossible without getting the whole room wet and the tub doesn’t drain properly making it even worse.No soap is provided,just 2 large empty bottles of shampoo and conditioner I guess for decoration.Over priced terrible host.
