Be-at-Ease Cabin är en naturskön 90 minuters bilresa från Minneapolis / St. Paul och ligger inbäddat i norra skogen i Wisconsin, direkt på öns kust av Bone Lake bara 30 steg från stranden. Legenden har det att Al Capone, John Dillinger och andra gangsters besökt området när de ville "komma undan allt".

Vi kallar vår hytt "Be-at-Ease" eftersom det är lätt att leva - en skogsbevuxen, platt flod vid sjönivån, 30 steg från vattnet, knottig inredning och norrskogsinredning som leder utomhus, 4 bekväma sovrum och bäddsoffa ger sovsal för upp till 10 gäster, rymligt allrum med underhållningscenter, spelrum, 2½ badrum, fullt utrustat kök, tvättmaskin / torktumlare - och ahhhh sjön ...

På 1781 hektar är Bone Lake både vacker och en premiär fritids sjö med 12½ miles av strandlinje, två öar och en sandbar som fungerar som en samlingsplats.

Be-at-Ease ger utsikt över Bone Lake från nästan alla rum, med spektakulära solnedgångar som den vetter mot väster. Den platt parti ger enkel tillgång till sjön, med en ytlig, sandig entré för barn som vill spela på vattnet. Och för fiskarna - Bone Lake är känt som ett utmärkt Wisconsin fiske för muskie, largemouth bas, crappie, abborre, nordliga gädda och bluegill.

En docka är på plats och väntar på båten - eller en ponton är tillgänglig för en extra avgift, som ger frihet att uppleva sjön som det är tänkt att vara.

This is the perfect cabin! We stayed here with my in-laws (6 adults) and 1yr old, and the place is laid out so well. The extra game room space was really nice to have just to have another space to be for a little bit or play games. Cabin is stocked with anything you would need. Flat lot! The lake is clean and beautiful. Esthetic of the cabin is cozy and qaint. It's everything you would want in a cabin stay! The hosts are thorough and responsive. Would definitely book again.

We had an incredible stay at Be-at-Ease Cabin! This was our first trip back to Bone Lake in over 20 years, and the cabin was exactly what we hoped for. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing week.The boat was a huge bonus and made it easy to spend our days fishing and exploring the lake. The location is perfect, with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. We made unforgettable memories with our family and truly didn’t want the week to end.Paul and Linette were wonderful hosts and made everything easy from booking through checkout. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

Fantastic Family Week

Fun Summer Family CabinTime

Great place to gather with family at the lake. We had a group of nine ranging in ages 12-76. Comfortable setting for all to BBQ, fish, swim and enjoy the pontoon and the beautiful setting. Ate dinner at a nearby restaurant a short pontoon ride away. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful home!

Terrific place that is far nicer than the photos. The living area is fabulous, the garage playroom is perfect for kids and adults, the pontoon is lots of fun, and the lake is just perfect. It is defiantly upscale, and not really rustic- more charming!

Truly at ease

We enjoyed the hospitality and responsiveness of our host. The cabin is nestled in the woods but a few steps away from the dock. Bone Lake is clear and clean with terrific fishing, which we enjoyed for dinner.

We had a wonderful stay at Be At Ease. It was perfect for our family of 6 that included a 3 year old. The cabin was spacious and very, very clean. The game room with extra fridge was great additional space. The flat lot was perfect for game time and access to the lake was easy off the dock. Our grandson loved splashing in the shallow water. He also caught lots of blue gills which he loved. Definitely rent the pontoon.

A perfect spot to take your older parents!

I booked this cabin stay to take my family and older in-laws. There are no stairs in the home and the lake is very accessible for those who need mostly zero entry access. The home was well stocked with all the essentials (bring your own beach towels). The lake was quiet during the week and the pontoon ran seamlessly. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Loved our stay at the Be at Ease Cabin

This is a charming, beautifully well-kept lovely home on the lake. It had just the right amount of amenities, and we mostly loved the boat! It is a gorgeous pontoon, and we were on it every day! The home is comfortable and spacious, and all on one level… So no climbing steps for this 60+ year old group of women!😊 The beds and all of the furniture was comfortable and casual enough to kick back, relax and enjoy! Great Wisconsin lake house

Our family of five stayed at Be-at-ease for a week in August 2024 and had great relaxing time. All of the beds and bedrooms were very comfortable. We had unseasonably cool weather so we didn’t use the a/c but it seemed like the house was very well set up for warm weather. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the things you’d need to cook any meal. The game room provided a great place for the kids to entertain themselves when not out on the water. The lake is spectacular and was surprisingly quiet for the amount of homes and boats on the water. The cabin is exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing get-away and hope to return in coming years! Thank you!

The Be-At-Ease Cabin met and exceeded our expectations.It was perfect for warm, sunny lake days, with level access to both a great boat and the lake—right out the back door. It was equally well-suited for rainy days, thanks to a fun and well-equipped game room that kept us entertained while waiting for the weather to clear.The entire property was comfortable and accommodating, both inside and out, and met all of our needs.The owners were very responsive to our questions, both before and during our stay.They also provided a helpful description of the lake’s unique features. We're seasoned boaters, but every lake is a little different, so we appreciated the extra information.The rates are very reasonable compared to what we've experienced in the Cross Lake area of Minnesota.We recommend the Be-At-Ease Cabin for your lake stay!!Thank you for a great stay!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and only steps from the lake. The home accommodated our family of 7 and was very accessible for my 87 year old mother. We greatly enjoyed the game room and the outdoor games along with the lake. The pontoon was a nice option to rent and we took pontoon rides daily. It is a wonderful home and we would stay again! Nice place, confusing/frustrating process

The place was beautiful and was perfect for our needs. However, the process to rent the place was frustrating. There was an expensive out of pocket (on top of the rental charge) deposit just to be approved to rent your stay which was unlike anything I’ve experienced. Also, when I asked the owner well in advance if we could check in early I was immediately denied with no explanation. After asking why, the owners stated there was a group leaving the day we were arriving. Which would be understandable considering cleaning would need to be done. I arrived to the lake at 8:00am check in day and had a clear view of the property and driveway. All day up until 4:30pm (check in time) not a soul moved in or out of that place. I would of liked to check in early to drop off luggage and groceries instead of taking it all on the ice with me.

Sorry for your experience setting up a reservation. For things that fall outside the basic VRBO rental process, VRBO requires that Owners do separate steps to complete the reservation, such as obtaining a refundable deposit as explained in our VRBO property description. And as you can attest, Guests' deposits are refunded shortly after the property is checked post-stay. As for early arrival, this is our vacation home and not just a rental. We, along with family/friends, use our cabin throughout the year, so if we ask someone not to arrive early it's respecting the privacy of other Guests and our family. Great stay at a great place.

4 beautiful bedrooms, 3 full baths, big living space and kitchen, pontoon boat on a pristine lake that’s empty most of the week. Very close to a nice resort with good food and live music on weekends. Bald Eagles and loons, and my wife saw a bear on her walk- Yikes! The best the Northwoods have to offer. Strongly recommended for any group!
