Beach Cottage

Sleeps up to 6 people in our beach cottage just five minutes from the beach. Centrally located in Pompano Beach. Walk to Starbucks in 5 minutes, LA Fitness or AMC theatre in 15 minutes, or to the beach in 25 minutes. 5 min drive to Pompano Pier and 20 min to Las Olas Blvd. Relax and unwind in this lovely, renovated home.
The property:
We are a husband and wife who live on the property, in a separate home. The space is a stand alone home on our property that is connected to our home by an awning and small walkway. The house is accessed from a separate driveway on a separate street. So although we live on the property, you still get the privacy of having a single family home as we access our home from a different driveway/street.
Inside there is a spacious living room that flows into the kitchen with a dedicated dining area. There are 2 bedrooms. The first has 1 king bed. The second has 2 queen beds. There are linens, towels, and dishes to accommodate up to 6 people. There is one bathroom. Upon request, the dining room table can be pulled out to seat an additional 2 people (there are two more chairs in closet if needed).
There are two outdoor areas. One is a small porch in the front of the house. It is private and tucked away behind some silver buttonwood bushes. The second is a carport being used as a patio. Both are covered and provide opportunities to enjoy the beautiful South Florida weather.
The driveway is large enough to park 3 cars.

Great place for a family to stay

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house was spacious and very clean. The house was well stocked with plenty of cookware, utensils and toiletries! It is a lovely, quiet neighborhood and the owners did an excellent job with communication.

Amazing

The house was clean. I’m a great quiet neighborhood no problems what so ever, and just minutes to the beach! All stores with everything you need within walking distance or short drive l! The owners are absolutely friendly and easy to communicate with they are absolutely great and fantastic people and this would be my go to place for a vacation home the stay was absolutely wonderful and peaceful I highly recommend! No complaints what so ever!

Why they chose this property

With the way the property is set up, you will have all the privacy and feel of a single family home with the benefits of having us nearby when needed.
Located east of Federal Highway and just two blocks from NE 14th Street Causeway, making it less than 5 minutes to drive to beach (or 25 minute walk).
Although the neighborhood is quiet and very residential, it is surprisingly walkable.
Within a 5 min walk: Starbucks, gas station, convenience store, Pudgies Cafe (great breakfast or lunch spot).
Within a 10 min walk: Pompano City Centre (large, outdoor shopping center with many restaurants and stores, pizza, Jimmy Johns, Chick-Fil-A, KFC, Chili's, Subway, Dos Amigos Rrestaurant (Mexican food), Zuccarelli (Italian food).
Within a 15 min walk: LA Fitness, AMC Movie Theatre, Whole Foods, Publix, PDQ, Chipotle, Galuppi's (Italian food) and also a place to do your laundry called Laundry World.
Within 25 minutes: The beach.
All of these are within a 5 min drive.
Within 10 min drive: Pompano Pier, Atlantic Ave (tons of dining).
Within 15 min drive: Lauderdale-by-the sea and Anglins Square, Deerfield Beach.

What makes this property unique

The location and set up of this property make it uniquely prefect for a beach getaway. Being so close to US 1 makes all the amenities of a major road walkable, like the gym, movie theater, grocery store, and Starbucks. Being east of US 1 makes the beach walkable as well. You get the best of both worlds.
The set up of the property is also unique, in that there are two stand alone homes on the property, so you truly feel like you are in a single family home. There are no shared walls or outdoor areas. We have our own separate backyard on the other corner of the property.
