This bright sunny studio apartment is full of swiss charm & modern conveniences. It was built as part of our single family home in 2006. Has its own separate entrance, a large terrace with lake & mountain views. This quiet location is just a minute walk to the crystal blue waters of Lake Brienz. Our backyard mountains offer great hiking & bike trails. The picturesque town of Boenigen is conveniently located just 3km from Interlaken and only 20 km to Grindelwald and the spectacular Lauterbrunnen Valley for great hiking and skiing in the winter.

The Studio has a full kitchen, queen bed & sofa. A modern bathroom w/shower, flat screen TV/Radio/DVD & Wireless Internet.
Utility charges, bed linens, bath and kitchen towels are included in price. Covered parking is also available.

Quintessential Swiss Studio

We loved staying in Bönigen. Cindy’s place is spotless! The bathroom floors are heated which was such a nice touch. Very comfortable bed, linens and amazing views. A few cows and chickens within the entrance to the studio. Cindy was really helpful with recommendations and also dropped us off for dinner one night. She is so lovely and very hospitable- we would definitely stay here again!

Erholung in traumhafter Landschaft

Wir haben uns in Böningen sehr wohl gefühlt. Cindy ist sehr nett und offen für den Gast. Der See ist gleich in der Nähe. Bus und Bahnverbindung zu den Ausflugszielen ein Traum.

Wij hebben bij Cindy en haar man een heerlijk verblijf gehad.Alles was schoon en netjes.De eigenaren zeer vriendelijk en willen je overal mee helpen. Zeer fijn terras met veel privacy. Kortom een fijn verblijf in een zeer mooie omgeving! Een plekje waar we graag terug komen. Bedankt voor alles!

Beautiful Bonigen

What a magnificent location!! The studio flat was just metres away from the stunning lake which was perfect for having a dip after a hot day walking in the region. The bus stop was just a 5 minute walk away, which connected to the Interlaken train connections. There was also the option of taking a boat trip on Lake Brienzersee, with the jetty being a 10-15 mins walk. The accommodation is furnished to a high standard and the shower was heaven!! We knew that Switzerland is expensive to eat out so we appreciated the hob and microwave oven/grill to cook food. Again, the accommodation is faultless and equipped with everything you needed. Cindy was so welcoming and from the moment we arrived, she was available to make our stay comfortable and give valuable advice about the surrounding area. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation and consider it to be one of the most beautiful locations.

Great Place!

Couldn't ask for a better place or a better host. Cindy's from San Diego so English is not a concern. She is there if you need her and not there when you don't. The place is very clean, nice kitchenette, HEATED BATHROOM FLOOR, beautiful private terrace to enjoy a meal and/or drink and great views of the lake an mountains. You're not in Interlaken, but you're close enough to get there by bus or bike. We rented a car, which they have a space in the carport to keep the car. We look forward to going back.

Fantastic stay

The studio has everything you need to kick back and relax. The terrace views are amazing. We loved the location near the stunning lake. We would highly recommend. Great communication from our host. Could not have asked for more. 5 stars.

Traumhaftes Chalet

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in diesem Chalet! Für 2 Personen ist die Größe völlig ausreichend und die Lage war top. Auf der Terrasse hatte man einen Blick auf den See mit den Bergen im Hintergrund und hinten raus hat man die Berge gesehen und die Kuhglocken gehört. Sehr romantisch. Mit dem Bus hat man eine super Verbindung und ist schnell in Iseltwald oder Interlaken. Das Chalet ist gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und die Vermieterin Cindy ist so freundlich und herzlich. Wir haben zuvor noch nie eine so wundervolle Landschaft gesehen, die Wanderwege sind ein Traum! Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder und auch gerne wieder in das Chalet!

super schönes Reiseziel

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man hat alles, was man braucht und die Lage ist wirklich super. Auf der Terasse hat man einen schönen Berg- und Seeblick und vor allem ganz viel Ruhe und Natur! In einer Minute am See, in wenigen Minuten bei verschiedenen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und mit dem Auto auch super angebunden. Wir wurden bereits bei der Ankunft sehr freundlich empfangen und haben einige super Tipps für Ausflüge bekommen. Würden wir immer wieder hin!

World Class

Cindy's place is charming, updated and has a nice layout. The view from the patio is world class with a views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The cottage is close to town and public transportation passes are provided. Cindy is very organized, sent a great video for directions to the cottage and was beautifully set up for our visit upon arrival. We look forward to a future visit.

Perfect Switzerland Getaway!

This property is right on Bönigen See (lake), a beautiful, picturesque view of Switzerland’s mountains. Close to Jungfrau Region which is absolutely amazing. Cindy’s place is also sparkling clean! Highly recommend!

Die Darstellung im Internet ist 100% richtig. Es handelt sich um ein kleines Studio: Wohnen/Schlafen/Kochen, dazu ein komfortables Bad und eine große Terrasse. Zugang direkt vom Garten. Die Betten sind bequem, die Ausstattung ist reichlich. Warmwasser stets parat. Gastgeber ist freundlich und in der Abrechnung überaus korrekt. Danke für alles! Wonderful Property

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this property. It’s a cozy place in the middle of all the hiking we wanted to do in the Interlaken area. The rental was quiet and relaxing. We were able to cook meals with no trouble. Owner was perfect in communication and directions. 5 stars all the way!

Utterly amazing.

Cindy is so lovely. The apartment was divine, just perfect for what we wanted. Warm, cozy, clean and modern. Amazing location, nestled between the mountains and a beautiful lake. We didn’t want for anything. Definitely looking forward to going back ASAP!!

Sam was born and raised in Boenigen, in a traditional farming family. I am a native Californian, living here since 1983 and enjoying the Swiss way of life. We have 2 teenagers plus a farm to help keep our lives interesting. We built our dream home together and look forward to sharing it and our local know-how with you!
