Townhome, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4-5)
We have roots in the midwest and Long Island, NY. We have lived in Manhattan and San Francisco and traveled quite a bit before we had kids. We feel lucky to have found this amazing community in Brooklyn and are thrilled to call it home.
Owner/Manager purchased this Townhome in 2006
Why Owner/Manager chose Brooklyn
We find this part of Brooklyn to have it all - delicious bakeries, inviting cafes and inspired restaurants plus original and eclectic boutiques, many family-owned businesses and beautiful parks - plus the convenience of any easy commute to the city.
What makes this Townhome unique
We never tire of the sound of kids playing in the park directly across the street. There is always life happening just outside so perching in a windowsill is an entertaining way to spend a few minutes. Our home features some of the original details including beautiful inlaid wood floors and high, tin ceilings married with modern, clean renovated kitchens and baths for 21st century comfort.

Great place for a Brooklyn (and/or Manhattan) visit.
We enjoyed the property. Clean, quiet and great location.
Thanks Frank! We loved hosting you and Caryl and hope to see you on a future visit.
Jamie and family
Our stay was fabulous. Jamie met us there on the first night and walked us through everything. Subway is literally steps away. Quiet street also. Would stay there again.
Thanks so much for your review. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you next time you're in Brooklyn!
Perfectly located for short jaunts and longer journeys.
Because Jamie's property was only two blocks from our daughter's apartment, it couldn't have been more perfectly located for us. We loved the Martinez grocery just around the corner (and the resident cat, Mars), and East One Coffee (within a block) in the morning. And we made no fewer than three trips to Books Are Magic (a 10-min walk), a great small independent book store. We also love Buttermilk Channel for dinner, again only a 10-min walk. Jamie and her husband were gracious, respectful and very communicative, responding quickly and often about a small plumbing problem we experienced.
The apartment was roomy - 3 beds for a family of four. Prime location - walking distance to everything. Quiet neighborhood
we loved it - just what we expected, and more
Very convenient to Manhattan, but also gave a nice neighborhood that wasn't Manhattan = cool restaurants, nice bars, coffee shops etc with normal prices and a feeling of being a local not a tourist. Would recommend both the apartment and the neighborhood 5 stars
Great place to stay!
We had a fantastic time staying at Jamie and Joe's apartment. The location is perfect - family friendly, quiet and within easy walking distance to great restaurants and local amenities including grocery stores. The accommodation was comfortable and clean with all that we needed for our family including our two children. Having the extra room meant that we all had space after busy days exploring the sights. Jamie and Joe were flexible and thoughtful when we needed to change our plans unexpectedly - which was a relief and much appreciated when travelling internationally. We would recommend this apartment in beautiful Carroll Gardens. Thanks for making our family trip one to remember!
Thanks for your review, Kelly! We are so pleased to have met you and your family and very glad you were able to make the trip!
We are located 5 minutes by subway from lower Manhattan, 25 minutes to midtown and 20 minutes to Coney Island.
