Great location

Five of us shared the apartment and had plenty of space. Nice kitchen and bathroom, spacious bedroom, great courtyard. Erin was responsive and helpful. Close to subways and restaurants. Would stay here again!

A nice place to stay, it felt like home.

The apartment was nice and in a good location for walking to restaurants and other attractions. The only complaint is that it was noisy which made it difficult to sleep. Lots of construction noise outside and noise from the family that lives upstairs.

Great place to stay!

We had a lovely experience at this home! Marycatherine was very responsive and accommodating to our family's needs. We traveled with 3 kids under 14 and the sleeping arrangements worked well. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and not far from the subway. I would certainly recommend this to anyone else looking for a spacious home outside of the city! The Saldana Family

Lovely apartment, great location, wonderful communication!

My family of four stayed in the apartment last week when visiting friends and family in our old neighborhood. The location could not be better, right by many subway lines, Prospect Park, the Botanic Garden, and a lot of restaurants and services. The apartment itself is spacious, airy, and has everything you could need, including a quiet garden out back and full laundry, both rare for the area. Comfortable seating and beds, a full kitchen with table and chairs, and even an office. The property manager was in communication throughout and very responsive. We recommend this rental highly and hope to be able to stay again sometime!

Excellent Apartment in Cool Brooklyn

We stayed in this lovely apartment for a month this fall. It is spacious, quiet, comfortable and fully equipped. Well-located near food shops and many subway lines plus some great restaurants in Prospect Hts. and Park Slope. Easy check-in and check-out. Communications with the agent/hostess were seemless and all of our needs were quickly responded to. We made meals in the well-equipped kitchen and entertained local friends in the cute back yard. We are big fans of Brooklyn and hope to return someday. Temporary rentals like this are very hard to find in NYC; it's a gem!

Good location.

The apartment was close to our daughter, husband and grandson which made the location perfect. Also close to transit and shops. We found the one air conditioner to be inadequate for the space with the NY heat & humidity. In spite of the owner's prompt response with 2 additional fans, our family of 5 (3 adults and 2 children) found that the air did not circulate sufficiently. The leather sofa bed in the front room was uncomfortable in spite of the extra mattress cover provided.

Great place to stay in Brooklyn!

I stayed here for a week of combined business and pleasure. Erin made the check-in and check-out process extremely easy and convenient. The apartment was lovely, spacious, clean, and just as described and pictured. I loved how the apartment was spread out into really distinct rooms, including a lovely large bedroom and a great office. Just for information (but not a criticism), the second possible sleeping accommodation is not a real sofa bed. It's a nice leather sofa in the living area, the back of which folds down (like a futon) and can be made up with sheets, etc that the owner provides. It's definitely large enough and works, but doesn't have the same comfort as a traditional bed with mattress. The location is perfect with multiple subway stops within a short walk, as well as a variety of restaurants for everything from morning coffee to a special meal or drinks. I definitely would stay here again.

We LOVED Beautiful Brooklyn Brownstone!

A gal pal and I took the train to NYC, then a $40 Uber ride to Brooklyn for a 4-night stay to visit my son who lives there while attending college in Manhattan. The garden-level apartment is very clean, stylish and secure. It has an added bonus of a large backyard with tables, chairs and an anti-gravity lounger which we just loved! With Property Manager Erin's permission, we rearranged the lawn furniture and planters to suit us and she told me that she left it that way! Communications with Erin was prompt and very helpful. She left a binder with restaurant and other recommendations in it. Our favorite restaurant was James, just a short walk down the tree-lined street. We ordered in most dinners during a freak heat wave of 105 degrees that had everybody dragging and grumpy but our rental was a fine respite from that. The exterior of the Brownstone is lovely and classic. From the street, there is an entry gate to the small courtyard, then a couple of steep steps down to a heavy security gate leading to an entry, then a vestibule with two more original doors that really kept the heat out. Original woodwork in entry and Master Bed Room was just beautiful. Because of the building's age, the rental has one window AC unit in the Living Room that surprisingly cooled the entire floor. I stayed in MBR which had two standing fans in it. Two other fans were in Kitchen and Living Room. Even with the extreme heat, those fans did the trick and kept us comfortable. The window unit's cold air reached MBR via pantry hallway. The Bath is new and upgraded, and perhaps the Kitchen will be next. Breakfast Nook has seats for four which was nice when our son came over for dinner with his roommate. We must comment on the unevenness of the flooring at doorway thresholds because we both tripped on them, in main Hallway, full Bath, and Office which is where we stored luggage and laptops. There were plenty of fresh towels and bedding in the large Laundry Room. It was great to be able to run loads of laundry because we and our clothes got fairly sweaty in the heat and we needed additional showers and clothing changes to stay fresh. My friend slept on the sofa sleeper and felt it needed a foam cushion to improve it. I sleep with one at home and suggest MBR bed could also use a 3-inch foam cushion to make it perfect. I would have given property 5 stars if beds had foam cushions. Overall, we LOVED it and would recommend this Beautiful Brooklyn Brownstone!

Perfect long-term stay

The property is located in a gorgeous neighborhood on a quiet, historic street. The interior decor is remarkable in how well it has been preserved and feels like a very cozy apartment. The kitchen has new appliances too, so cooking and entertaining in the apartment are a breeze! The owner and property manager were both extremely responsive to any needs we had during our stay, and made for a wonderful experience.

Apartment was immaculately clean and very well equipped. Spacious, comfortable and quiet. Easy check in with the property manager, in fact, I was able to get into the apartment a few hours early. Nice residential neighborhood but all amenities and restaurants are within a short walk.

Spacious and well-equipped apartment in fantastic neighbourhood

We really lacked for nothing during our 5-day stay here with our teenage daughter. From great appliances in the kitchen, a washing machine, loads of clean fluffy towels and a really comfortable bed, to the charming garden and, most especially, one of the best neighbourhoods-to-be in Brooklyn. After each journey into Manhattan or other parts of Brooklyn, we came to the same conclusion: the coolest spots (cafes, restaurants, shops) were actually just around the corner from us. We could have stayed there all the time!

Spacious apartment, fantastic location

We had a lovely stay here in October 2019 for a week. The area is quiet and well provided with grocery stores, bars & cafes. The subway links to all areas of Manhattan are excellent and it isn't too far from JFK airport. We had a few reservations - the apartment is a bit gloomy and looks like it could do with a refresh in some areas and there were problems with the AC, but overall it was a very nice stay.

Lovely, convenient, and well appointed apartment

My family of five stayed (two parents, three teens) in the apartment over Thanksgiving break. It was a slightly tight squeeze, but worked out fine. Location is great: close to all the good things in Park Slope and downtown Brooklyn. Apartment has modern conveniences and is well maintained. There is a great private patio that would be a real treat in warmer weather. Manager was very helpful and responsive.

Eine sehr gemütliche Wohnung mitten in New York City nah an Metro

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet mit viel Platz, die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Apartment hat eine super Lage, von Bergen St. wenige Stationen von Manhattan entfernt. Wir (2 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder) haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. In der Nähe sind viele Lokale und kleine Supermärkte, Spielplätze. Auf der Atlantic Ave befindet sich eine kleine Mall und ein großer Supermarkt. Die Gegend ist gut, viele Bio-Märkte.

Stunning Brownstone in Brooklyn

You can do the typical tourist thing and stay in sterile hotel rooms in Manhattan, or you can enjoy being a "local" and experience the real New York. Stay in a traditional brownstone, eat and drink coffee at the local bagel store then catch the subway across the Brooklyn Bridge to see the sites. This comfortable, fashionable well presented apartment was perfect to recharge for another day of seeing all those famous New York City sites. Very highly recommended.

Clean and great location

The property was well-maintained and clean. It is close to the subway and we visited several of the restaurants nearby while we were there. It was also nice to have the washer and dryer during our stay. The property manager was very helpful and met us after our late night flight to show us the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Brooklyn rental

I have just returned from a 7 day visit to NYC and stayed in this brownstone apartment. It was lovely, clean, well appointed and exactly as advertised. Close to the subway, coffee shop, a great bagel place and other amenities including a decent wine store. The property manager, Erin, could not have been nicer and was available for any questions we had. I would absolutely love to come back and stay here again.
