Cozy Cottage Near All Amenities - walk to golf course

Welcome to our cozy Flagstaff get-away! We believe our home has the perfect balance of beautiful surroundings, great value and amazing location. Enjoy the outdoors on the spacious deck or watch the kids play in the snow from the large windows in the living room. We enjoy all of the seasons - from the cool breezes in the summer to the rainstorms and snow in the winter. The stars at night are unbelievable all year long.

Our place is ideal for a small family or two couples. We pride ourselves on keeping it clean and comfortable. We have recently remodeled the kitchen and both bathrooms, added new floors and fresh paint.

We have all brand new LG kitchen appliances and a high-end, full-size washer/dryer, ROKU TV's in both bedrooms and living room and free WIFI. We have DIRECT TV and INTERNET SPEED has been upgraded to 12 Mbps. Bring your laptop and you can catch up on emails while you sit on the deck. We also provide games, puzzles and movies for the kids in dining room buffet cabinet. There is also a movie collection in the closet near the fireplace.

We are walking distance to the golf course and the Country Club. We are 10 minutes to downtown Flag and NAU and 20 minutes to the base of SnowBowl.

Check out seasonal golf at the nearby golf course, skiing at Snow Bowl, hiking, sledding, shopping in downtown Flagstaff or day trips to Sedona, Grand Canyon, Slide Rock, Oak Creek Canyon, Polar Express and much more.

***Sleeping: The master bedroom has a queen sized bed. We provide plenty of linens and pillows. The second bedroom also has a queen bed. We have a small mattress suitable for a child, stored under the master bed. Our place sleeps 4 comfortably but could accommodate 5 when using the futon mattress.

***Summer Visitors: Please note that we do not have central AC. This is typical in Flagstaff and our place remains very comfortable in the summer months. We have ceiling fans in each room and large, screened windows that can be opened to let the cool breezes come in.
***HOA rules prevent large parties and groups, excess noise, etc. We want to respect our neighbors and keep the neighborhood a peaceful, quiet and beautiful place to visit.
***Travel Insurance is recommended.
***Grill Restrictions/Fire Restrictions - Occasionally Flagstaff will restrict grill and/or fireplace use. We have a rule to only use Duraflame type logs in the fireplace.

Overall our stay was great and the house is very well supplied with kitchen items, plenty of blankets and towels. The hosts were very responsive and let us know that the dryer was not functional and a repair was made during our stay. The beds are very firm and the furniture is starting to show some pretty good wear-couch seating surfaces are cracked and scratchy. The closet in one room was full of extra chairs and an extra table which made it unusable.

The pet areas/ deck were just fine for our 2 pugs. We also enjoyed daily morning walks around the golf course path. Only issue is that it was really hot in the bedrooms. Fans were made available, but there is no AC. Overall, a nice stay in a good location.

Cozy cottage near all the amenities

My Cousin and I spent a very very. Nice 4 days at the went to a wedding of my my nephew and a lovely young lady . We got there early to see the sites.. we enjoyed the patio and the beautiful birds singing and yes, we were there in the summer

We did not receive much cominication from the host after our stay commensed. The amenities could have been better supplied. Typically VRBO residences are better supplied. It is one reason people chose to stay at a VRBO residence. They typically dont have to bring much along. Better stocked bathroom and kitchen. Better communication regarding tv reception. Bigger tvs. No ice maker. Bed could have been more comfortable. Saggy mattresses and bad box springs. Although there were conditions we typically dont encounter with VRBO residences, we enjoyed our stay.

Great location

Grand Canyon vacation

Quick Trip To Flagstaff

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It snowed while we were there but the condo was nice and warm. It is conveniently located and had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive. We had to cut our stay short so that we could get home for Thanksgiving and miss an upcoming snow storm, but we had a great time.

Great Place!

I would use this property again. It’s location was great, close to anything you would need or want. Nice, relaxing place. Love the deck to sit outdoors and read or whatever. Loved watching all of the geese on the golf course. All the comforts of home.

An easy place to stay.

A lovely little home, with lots of ling space. A lovely playground just a short walk away. The only gripe we had was the photos looked like the lawn/yard was bigger in the pictures, and it is right next to quite a busy road so we had to be watchful of the kids.

We love Flagstaff and wanted to give our kids the chance to play in the snow, learn to ski and also escape the hot temperatures in the summer. We have loved using our second home to enjoy the outdoors and spend quality time as a family. Without the distractions of home, we find the time to play games with the kids, check out the stars, and just enjoy nature and relax with the slower pace of a small town.
