Overview

About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 6)

Seven Springs Ranch encompasses 46 acres of a splendid combination of meadows, forest, springs, streams, and a large pond. From here you can easily walk to national forest land and hike as far as you want to go. There is a variety of wildlife that frequents Seven Springs including deer, black bear, moose, mountain lions, and all sorts of birds of prey.

This is a ranch in name only. There are no other rental units located on the property. The guest house was completed in 2002 and it is virtually new including appliances. It is located on a knoll with forest on two sides and meadows on the other sides. This configuration provides an excellent combination of a forest canopy and open views.

Our location provides a remote setting with easy access to many lakes including Flathead Lake, Glacier National Park, The Bob Marshall Wilderness, and eclectic tourist centers of Big Fork and Whitefish.

About Ron Chandonais

We bought Seven Springs Ranch in 1991 as a place we would one day retire to. We needed to rent the main house out while we continued to work, but we quickly came to realize we needed a place to stay when we came up on vacations. So we built the Guest House. It took longer than we thought and by the time it was completed in 2002, we were ready to move up here. It was never occupied except as a vacation rental. Our guests are almost always impressed by the quality of construction.

Ron Chandonais purchased this house in 2002

Why Ron Chandonais chose Marion

The proximity to Glacier National Park, excellent fishing, boating on a variety of lakes, and hiking. The remoteness of the location and uncrowded ability to get out and enjoy nature.

What makes this house unique

Wildlife viewing and quiet sounds of nature are major attractions. There is also a large pond and a fire pit for camp fires.

A peaceful, clean, wonderful place to stay near Kalispell, MT

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would HIGHLY recommend it to our friends! The guest house is private, clean, very cute inside, comfortable, and in a great location. The host and hostess were very friendly and helpful. They gave us privacy, but had great suggestions of things to do in the area when we asked. The guest house is nicely furnished...we especially enjoyed having a nice kitchen to use throughout our stay. The guest house is located about 50 minutes to Glacier National Park. It is also in a nice location to visit Whitefish, Kalispell, Hungry Horse Dam, Big Fork, and many other area attractions. We plan on staying here again.

Awesome modern country cabin retreat.

  • 5 of 5

Although built a few years ago, the cabin is as new. Great furniture, appliances and amenities. Owners thought of everything- garage, barbecue, windows for viewing wildlife. Great shower/bath. Comfortable beds, laundry room and upstairs sleeping loft accessed by a spiral staircase.

The property is quiet. Wildlife abounds, there are trails to hike on and gurgling springs to enjoy as they flow into the trout pond that you can canoe on.

The owners are friendly and have developed their property with craftsmanship and comfort in mind.

The guest house was a perfect home base for our Glacier Nat'l. Park day hiking vacation.

It is spotless, comfortable, and has everything you need. We appreciated the high quality kitchen amenities.

We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the porch everyday. The owners are super friendly and helpful. We highly recommend his place.

Serene peaceful sanctuary

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have visited this lovely property several times. It has everything we need with a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, master bedroom, loft bedroom, spacious living area and garage. Surrounded by trees, several hiking trails and lots of wildlife, we are rested and rejuvenated during our stays. Exceptional value for the cost! Highly, highly recommended!

Off the beaten path

  • 5 of 5

Comfortable, secluded dwelling nestled in forested acreage with assorted wildlife. While it's located to the west of Kalispell and, so, may be more distant from Glacier than other vacation rentals, the respite from the din and bustle of business and tourist traffic and crowds is pleasant. The drive out from town passes through beautiful foothill and field country. We traveled with two unexpectedly surly teenagers who sometimes stayed behind when the adults ventured out, so the absence of temptations within walking distance was a convenient governor on their wanderlust and wiles. The hosts are available (on the same acreage), very friendly, and helpful.
