Beautiful & comfortable house

The house we stayed in for 3D & 3N was big, beautiful, comfortable, and gave complete privacy which we could never get in a hotel. The kitchen was amazing with everything we needed. Nick the owner was quick to reply to our questions and he is a gracious host. My only suggestion would be less lights coming in the bedroom at night from the yard

Lovely comfortable home

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. Spacious, perfect back yard and located close enough to everything. The slider door gave us a bit of trouble, but the weather was lovely so we just kept it open for most of our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this well-equipped home in a neighborhood in north Crescent City. The beds were comfortable and the living spaces were roomy. And a bonus, this is the first rental I have ever stayed in where the neighbors wished us a good vacation.

Coastal Bliss! Perfect Getaway

Our stay at The Ruby Rose was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the stunning coastal views and the peaceful atmosphere. The house itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and incredibly comfortable – it felt like a true home away from home.Nick was a fantastic host, providing clear instructions. We especially loved well-equipped kitchen, and the large back yard with a deck and firepit. The location was ideal, with easy access to the beach, the harbor, and all the hiking trails in the Redwoods. The comfortable beds, provided coffee, quiet neighborhood made our stay even more enjoyable. We woke up to the sound of the birds chirping and spent our days exploring the charming coastal town and the near by woods.We highly recommend The Ruby Rose to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Cozy Respite after Long Day of Hiking

The Ruby Rose was the perfect home for a family after a long day of hiking Jedidiah Smith State Park. Both the front and back living room space had lots of pillows and blankets and lighting, a nice place to chill and read a book. We appreciated the extra comfy beds, the coffee/tea station, and the extra swim towels. Do stay and visit the redwoods!

Great Getaway

This house made our family getaway feel like home. It’s located close enough to activities but feels off the beaten path. Quiet and extremely comfortable. super clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with all we needed to cook for our meals. We will definitely stay again. Highly recommend this house.

The Ruby Rose is spacious and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is large, functional, and has everything you need to cook. We enjoyed the living room watching some TV and the round dining table playing board games. It's a bit of a drive (~10 min) from the center of Crescent City, but it was not a problem overall. The three bedrooms are all next to each other and there's one bathroom right next to them. The second bathroom is behind the kitchen, quite far from the bedrooms.

Amazing home near the redwoods

We loved this house. Very clean. Well maintained. Lots of space for my family of six. Nick was very responsive to any questions we had. Great location, too. Had an amazing experience visiting the redwoods.

Redwood’s Getaway

The house is well appointed, extremely comfortable and spacious. Felt more like a rental home, than a rental house. Great jump off point for exploring the Redwoods and local beaches. We highly recommend the property to anyone needing to stay in the Crescent City area. We’ve rented a lot of coastal homes, this is definitely one of the best.
