FISHERMAN welcome! Coming to Del Norte to fish the Smith River? We're about 2 minutes from the drift boat launch ramp, and we have our own fish cleaning station.

Located in sunny Hiouchi (usually about 10 degrees warmer than Crescent City), this spacious home is located less than 2 minutes from the world famous Redwood National Park and Jed Smith Park. It's also less than 2 minutes from some of the BEST places to swim / launch a kayak into the gorgeous Smith River.

We have a Game Room with a ping pong table, some arcade games and a dart board. It's a great house for the whole family.

Please note that this is a PET FREE property.

If you want to hit the beaches in Crescent City, it's a 10 minute drive through some of the prettiest and largest redwoods on the planet.

Guests also get a 10% off coupon for the delicious Hiouchi Cafe which is right down the road.

Great place! Safe neighborhood! Close to redwoods, Smith River, beach! The kids LOVED the game room! It was their highlight of their stay! I loved that it was easy to keep an eye on the kids in the game room with the family room and kitchen being just off the game room. Thank you for a great stay!

Fun and accommodating

Our family of 5 enjoyed the spaces and game room. Clean and so close to the boy scout tree trail we hiked. A great stay! Only wish that coffee was provided, otherwise met all expectations!

First impression…huge house! So much space for our family to eat, talk, play games and just unwind. Plus great location to explore the Redwoods and Crescent City. Kitchen was well furnished and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. We appreciated little things like good WiFi, extra beach towels, gas grill and grill tools, and loved the hot tub. Really a good experience for all of us.

Great location and very comfortable

The house has everything we need and was a great place to stay for our trip to the Redwoods. The owner was very prompt with communicating and provided great information on the area that made out to even better. We will stay again!

Location was amazing!

This location was perfect as the Redwood Forest and Smith River are so close to the house. It was nice to go play in the river and then come back to a nice house and a hot tub. There was plenty of room for my family of seven, the game room was great for my four boys. Plenty of space to relax and feel apart of nature. Would definitely recommend this home to any who are looking to stay in the Redwoods area.

Perfect vacation rental for our family!

The arrangement of rooms was perfect for our family of 6 adults, 4 youth. The amenities were amazing, the hot tub was a big hit. The kitchen was well equipped. A great location with quick access to redwood groves and coastal beaches. We really enjoyed ourselves.

So many fun things to do here while getting away from the busy city. It has everything you want whether you want to just stay in or go out and explore the redwoods. The host was great and very helpful 10/10 would do again

Great location and beautiful home

We absolutely loved the home. It was clean and set up perfectly. There were yard games to enjoy in the fenced in yard and the home was in a prime location for our visit to the redwoods. Wonderful place to stay we will definitely stay again when we travel back to this area.

Amazing house in super convenient location!

This house was perfect for us - great location close to many area attractions (hiking, river, beaches) and plenty of space to spread out. Hot tub was clean and relaxing. Nice to have a grill and fire pit. Lawn games and board games galore! We loved every minute of our vacation and would absolutely stay here again/recommend to others!

Great Vacation Rental

We were a group of 9 people. There was plenty of space, seating, dishes, beds and entertainment for everyone. We were very comfortable in the home. Everything was easy to find and use.

Beautiful week in the Redwoods

The property is so close (20 minutes or less) to so many beautiful redwood groves, swimming holes, and drives. It is also equipped with enough fun games and amenities to keep the family entertained. The check-in was easy and straightforward. The property is accurately portrayed in the photos. The owner is responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location and perfect for kids

Two families adequately shared this space, as we explored the Redwood National and State Parks for a few days. The location could not have been better for the day trips we made to different trails, and for getting out to the coast for tide-pooling. When we weren't outdoors, the house was fantastic for 5-kids to have space and fun things to do, inside and out. There was plenty of personal space for the adults and kids regarding sleeping and bathroom arrangements, and the kitchen/dining area was ideal for taking meals together. Appreciated all the cupboard/pantry space, and full-size fridge, for the food we brought with us.

This was a terrific place to stay. There is plenty to do on-site and also nearby. Lots of space for all seven of us. We just wish we could have spent more time there! It's a beautiful area and the house is not hard to find. Great location for the Redwoods, but also not far from the beach.

Great little spot near the river and coast!

Great spot to post up if you want to be near it all…river, Redwoods and the coast. Layout of the house was great for multiple families with a great den/living room area on the lower level. Hot tub is always fun, and great yard set up with fire pit and games. There was pretty much everything you needed, plenty of towels etc. and the house was very cutely decorated. Quiet neighborhood and street as well, kids had fun playing catch out front and playing. Wish it was pet friendly for our use in the future, but hey, can’t have everything!
