The Hogg-Anderson House

Welcome to the Historic Hogg-Anderson House! The Hogg-Anderson house is in one of the best locations for everything in Downtown Wilmington! Free parking is included. We have a private gravel lot behind the house. We are one block to the river and the award-winning riverwalk, and across the street from Bakery 105! You are also within walking distance of all the museums, shops, restaurants, and nightlife.

The house itself offers plenty of living space. The cozy living room opens to the fully updated kitchen which has a large island and plenty of seating space. Off the entry there's a huge dining table perfect for a nice evening meal in. The 3 bedrooms are all good size. One has a king bed, one a queen, and the other two twin beds. There are many historical touches throughout the house including numerous fireplaces and mantles. You'll love your stay in this historic gem in downtown!

You have access to the entire main house. We have a guest apartment we rent separately in the cellar of the home its own entrance from the back of the house. Please note that this is a multi story house and stairs are required for access.

I was transported back to my childhood in historic Parker county and the city of Weatherford TX. I loved the history and then the thought of all the people who had travelled through. Wonderful stay in a historic home. Gorgeous!

Great stay! The house was as advertised (though note that the room with two beds doesn't have a door, just curtains). We noticed a small issue in the kitchen (it didn't impact our stay) and the property managers were responsive. This is an excellent location, incredibly clean, and we'd highly recommend it!

Beautiful home!

We celebrated our 30th anniversary in Wilmington and this house was the perfect place to stay! It’s beautiful, spacious, and you can’t beat the location! We walked everywhere and had the best time! Would definitely stay there again!

Excellent stay in this beautiful home. Great location within walking distance to shops and eateries. Beautiful back courtyard with flowering shrubs. Communication from the host was excellent and efficient. Hope to be back for another visit soon.

Birthday Celebration

We love Wilmington and rarely stay downtown. This was so convenient to River Walk, restaurants and shopping. The house was very comfortable! We would definitely stay again. It was a pleasure to have parking too! Communication with management was fast and clear. Thank you.

A secret gem

We loved the Hogg-Anderson House. It was so close to everything in downtown Wilmington. We were so happy to choose this location and this house. The historic charm of the house exceeded my expectations. We loved walking everywhere and not needing to drive anywhere except when we went to the nearby beach. We utilized the 2nd-floor porch overlooking the town where saw the most amazing sunsets. The three large bedrooms and baths met our needs and were all very large. We couldn't have picked a better house to stay in.
