The cabin is 37 min drive to Ski Apache, 10 min drive to casinos.

There is ample parking for up to 2 vehicles. Driveway is gravel. The road up to the property is fairly steep, so 4x4 or all-wheel drive is recommended during wet, snowy, or icy conditions.

The property is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood. There is adequate separation between the neighbors for a good amount of privacy. The property is a 10 min walk down to Midtown shops and restaurants; however it may be a steep walk back up the hill to the cabin from Midtown and there is no sidewalk access until near Sudderth Drive. There is virtually no foot traffic in this neighborhood. It is common to see deer roaming the neighborhood.

There is no sidewalk accessibility upon exiting the property, so a vehicle is recommended to access the attractions of Ruidoso both far and near. Hiking trails that are a short drive away are: Grindstone lake trails, Ruidoso River Trail, and Cedar Creek Trails.

This cabin is a part of a quiet residential community. Please do not rent this cabin if you intend to make noise into the late evening or early morning.
