About this property

Do you need to relax and unwind? Do you want your kids to get outside for some fresh air? The Appalachian mountains have long been known as a place to take in the fresh air and get away from it all. Come to Beech Mountain!
Canoeing, fishing, hiking, even mountain bike trails are all an easy drive from the cabin (everything is ON Beech Mountain), as well as two open decks and a balcony on our property. You'll see deer for sure, and if you're lucky, you'll see bears, skunks, birds, and many other animals.
Play cornhole on the porch, eat your meals outside, hang up the hammock for a nap, or just open the windows to enjoy the cool mountain air. With two living spaces you can watch different TV programs at the same time, and in the game room enjoy classic arcade games, foosball, and plenty of board games. Our kitchen has everything you need to bake and cook what you like, and restaurants are just a 10 minute drive away.
And don't forget your fur babies are welcome here too!

Beautiful!

Everything about this house was beautiful! It has a lovely blend of comfort and beauty. It is isolated yet close to adorable towns. We brought our whole family and everyone had a great time.

Beautiful home for a cozy, family vacation!!

We stayed at this gorgeous home on Beech Mountain and had an amazing time! Our dogs loved the daily hikes, we loved the coziness of the cabin and our son REALLY loved the video games downstairs! The owner was sweet, extremely helpful and it’s nice staying in a home that you can tell has been well loved. Fantastic home and we’re so glad we found this place for our vacation!!

80's weekend at Beech Mountain!

Really enjoyed our traditional 80's weekend trip to Beech Mountain to visit with friends and listen to the band Cassette Rewind. Some of our Children came up from Clemson and got to enjoy the weekend with us. The house was awesome. Very accommodating. We stayed at the same house five years ago. We will keep it on our list for future trips to Beech. Thank you!

Family ski trip

We usually stay at a different VRBO down the road but it was booked. This was the first here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner is very responsive with any emails I sent. The teens enjoyed the game room and I enjoyed watching all the deer.

We love western North Carolina. Linville Caverns, Linville Falls, Grandfather Mountain, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, what's not to love? The best thing about Beech Mountain is not just its proximity to so many fun activities, but the fact that there is dining, shopping, and entertainment on the top of the mountain itself!

Why they chose this property

Our cabin is nestled in the woods for lovely privacy as the trees leaf out. But a cute downtown area with shopping, a museum, and restaurants is just a 10 minutes drive away. The neighbors are a mix of permanent residents and vacationers. It's beautifully quiet, yet has all the perks of a small town: police, fire station, restaurants, parks, even a lovely recreation center at a lake.

This home is beautiful and clean, yet it's also pet friendly! The house has two great living areas so perfect for large families or vacation with multiple families.
