This property met all of our expectations. The home was clean and comfortable, and the property manager was very attentive to our needs. And most importantly to us, we were able to walk to West Point. We visit West Point each year, and we will definitely try to reserve this home again.

Nice space, convenient to West Point

Minor misunderstanding about initial entry instructions, but host responded immediately and helped get us in. Great stay and super east access to West Point from this location.

Great location and ideal place to stay for West Poing

Stayed for the Easter w/e to visit our cadet son at West Point. % mins from maon street and 10 mins from West Point and the golf course. Clean, spacious and well laid out for 2 adults and 2 teenage kids. Will be looking to stay there again on future visits instead of trying to find hotels that are 25-40 mins drive away.

Had an issue getting in at first- owner wasn't understanding the issue. Ultimately got it figured out. Sheets on one of the beds was full of hair- obviously not cleaned since last rental.

Steps from history

Lovely location, conveniently situated next to West Point. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay for homecoming weekend or simply visiting the area. Added convenience is its close proximity to the local bakery (repeat customer) and the pizza place wherein I think my kids did indeed lick their plates clean.

Good spot in convenient location

The apartment looked as it did in the pictures. It was nice to have a full sized fridge, oven, washing machine, and dryer. There is no dishwasher. Some minor scuffs and chips on floors and walls. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked well.

This Sweezy home was exactly as described on the VRBO listing. We stayed for eight nights during March Back and Acceptance Day week.We were looking to stay in a home environment rather than hotel considering that there are days between March back (Monday) and Acceptance Day parade (Saturday following) wherein we both wanted to work. There was a plastic heavy duty foldable table (as well as folding chairs) which we were able to set up for the work environment.Very thoughtful and responsive host. Upon request for some toiletries, we were provided with all the items very quickly. There were couple of camping chairs available for us to use for the March Back and this was awesome considering that we travelled light from the West Coast. We were able to order items (needed for our Cadet’s barracks) from amazon for timely and convenient delivery. Lots of pros: Bright, clean and well-stocked home super close to the West Point Academy.We took walks to the West Point Museum as well as Andy’s restaurant. Washer / Dryer as well as full sized fridge was a major plus. kitchen was equipped with pots/pans and necessities for cooking a hot meal for our cadet. The home flooring needs minor touch up but didn’t hamper our stay. Overall, we would love to stay at this home for our future visits to West Point.

Wonderful

We were so fortunate to have this open up last minute as our other VRBO was a nightmare and we could not stay there. This place was CLEAN, beautiful and homey- such a restful place to stay while visiting our son at West Point. The described location was spot on as being just minutes away from the Academy and could not have been more convenient. The host is as helpful and responsive as can be. We would love to book this again but it books up FAST. Thank you for making our stay so easy and enjoyable!
