About this property

Oceanfront on secluded beach, pool & palapa

Located right on the beach, 35 miles north of Cabo San Lucas, this two bedroom, one bath property features a beautiful lagoon-style pool, spa, huge palapa, covered parking, and plenty of space and privacy. Perfect for one to two couples, each bedroom has a queen bed. There is a pull-out sofa in the living room.

Old World Mexican decor throughout, inside the house you will find comfortable furniture, a fully provisioned kitchen, books, games, TV, and cozy dining area.

Outside enjoy two covered patios, patio dining and Weber barbecue. The ocean terrace features up-close enjoyment of the Pacific Ocean and a gas fire pit. A ramp off this terrace gives you direct access to the beach. There is a second, wood burning fire pit on the beach.

The rooftop observation deck on the house has a double lounge and features a large palapa overlooking panoramic views of both the Sierra Laguna Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

Additionally, there is a huge palapa adjacent to the pool. It has an outside dining table, queen bed, and poolside lounges. Passive solar heating for the pool will bump the water temperature by 10-degrees.

We provide beach gear, including beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, beach towels, and boogie boards.

We are surfer friendly, and are close to two of the world's best surf breaks. We can help you arrange adventure tours, water recreation activities, private massage and/or yoga sessions, hiking, mountain biking and horse riding on the beach or in the mountains. The night sky is amazing here. You will remember your stargazing experience forever.

Perfect for a vacation with friends, family, or a romantic getaway. Not suitable for young children under 10 due to the unfenced pool and many desert plants.

The property is walled on three sides, open to the ocean on the 4th side. There are two homes within the 2-lot compound, one occupied by owner. The homes are offset for maximum privacy, with landscaping, pool, and palapa between the two lots. The pool is exclusively for guest use. If you have a large group, the main house may also available as a rental (VRBO #618095) but only if additional lodging is needed by your group. "Cassie" is a super friendly Baja rescue, and "Oliver," is a young lab. They have access to the entire property, so keep that in mind before you book if you do not care for dogs.

A Piece of Baja Paradise

Wonderful five days in southern Baja. The ocean was our backyard. Too many wonderful amenities to list, but not only did we have the ocean but a pool and Palapa Sharon, our host was delightful.

Our host was approachable, friendly and informative and provided us with privacy. Walking on the beach was amazing met up with a couple of the neighbours who were welcoming sharing some of their favourite places to visit in the area. The ‘pups’ Oliver and Cassie were happy to join us on our afternoon walks and of course enjoyed their treats. The pool was like being in an oasis and property well maintained and private with colourful sunrise and sunset views. Dark sky area provided excellent star gazing. Every day we enjoyed watching the whales as they dined in groups, breached and played off shore. We would not hesitate to book again.

Lovely Beach Home in Baja

The house and pool were beautiful. The grounds and garden were immaculate and fascinating. The view of the consistently empty beach was magnificent. Sharon as a joy to engage with and was very helpful. We loved our stay here. If you're looking for a secluded beach retreat with amazing restaurants nearby, this is the place for you. We would love to return to this area, and if we did, we would definitely rent Sharon's place again. Have already recommended it to multiple friends.

Best sunset location

This vacation home truly was a unique experience. Perfect if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. Just a short drive to town, and a great beach for endless surf. We stayed a week, exploring Tado Santos and the many hiking, and biking trails. Great location and friendly hosts!

Wonderful and peaceful getaway

We loved this very beautiful and non pretentious property. Our casita was bright and colorful, very Mexican ! So quiet and relaxing. Our hosts, Sharon and Keith did so much for us and they were always available for anything we might need, including directions, restaurants in the area, etc. Keith was very social, never overbearing and we loved talking with him. The dogs, Cassie and Oliver were so very sweet and we loved seeing them everyday. Thank you Sharon and Keith for a most enjoyable stay. Hope to make it back real soon. Liz and Curt

Magical Baja Beach Getaway!

Kevin and I spent a week @ Baja Beach Getaway disconnecting from work and social media and enjoying each other. The property was the perfect place for us to relax. We star gazed from the roof, enjoyed the pool and hot tub, sunsets were amazing, and the kitchen was stocked for easy cooking. The Pescadero community was great - we had 2 dinners out @ Lucky 23 and Hierbabuena both excellent but if you have to choose don't miss Hierbabuena! Keith and Sharon were excellent hosts! Kathy

Relaxing Rental Near Todos Santos

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Keith and Sharon's property just south of El Pescadero. The property has many separate outdoor spaces and easy access to the beach. The property is super private and we enjoyed the very well behaved dog companions! We used their boogie boards and beach chairs for a trip to the nearby swimming/surfing beach. The kitchen is well supplied and the full sized refrigerator was perfect for all the food we bought for our trip. The hosts were very responsive to our requests and we look forward to a return trip!

Fantastic hosts, beautiful property, great pool. Phenomenal beach experience.

This trip was the most relaxing beach experience we have had. We saw few others on the beach and felt like we were the only ones there. The scenery was absolutely picturesque and the company (2dogs, Ollie & Cassie) was perfect to walk the beach with every day. Keith & Sharon were a joy to be around and gave us great suggestions for exploring. In short, we loved it and have booked again in the fall. And the sunsets were second only to the whale watching, barely off shore. Incredible. If you like nature, pristine beach and clear starry skies, you’d be wise to try this seemingly secluded beach paradise.

Perfect getaway

We spent 10 days at the Baja Beach Getaway. The property was a beautiful and quiet oasis right on the water. We woke each morning watching whales, mantarays and dolphins in front of the house. Cerritos beach is a 5 minute car ride away where you can boogie board (boards available from Keith and Sharon), surf or swim in the rolling waves - beach in front is great for strolls and toes, but not safe for swimming. Or you can lounge by the pool and look for lizards that live in the rocks nearby (they’re harmless). The house had all we needed to cook meals, watch a movie, play board games, and reliable Wi-Fi. Todos Santos is a short drive north, a very quaint artists town worth exploring. Keith and Sharon were available for any needs or questions. We felt safe and well cared for our entire trip. We wholeheartedly recommend this property!

Magical beachside community with the most down-to-earth owners

We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed Sharon and Keith's place. They are both so kind and giving of their time. We really enjoyed their sense of humor and their obvious love for where they live. Their dogs Casey and Oliver were a joy to walk on the beach with and to hang out with around the casita. We quickly got into the rhythm of the surroundings - the sound of the waves, the magnificent beauty of the mountains to the east and the Pacific to the west - it's quite stunning to climb up to the terrace every morning and every night to bear witness to either the sunrise or the sunset. And the stars...wow, don't get us started. The beach goes on forever by their property - we were often the only ones on it. In practicalities, the kitchen is well-stocked. You don't have to worry about potable water as the owners gave us all we wanted. Also very cool was the availability of beach stuff to take with you to Cerritos - chairs, umbrellas, coolers, noodles. You name it. We so enjoyed our time there. It's close to some excellent restaurants and not far from Todos Santos, but yet you feel so close to nature. Thank you Sharon and Keith!

Paradise

The title says it all…. Baja Beach Getaway! This is a perfect place to unwind, enjoying peace, beauty and beach walks. If you don’t like dogs or need to be near the action, this place is not for you. Keith & Sharon we’re easily accessible and willing to help with suggestions. It was well stocked with spices, coffee and beach gear. We hope to return.

A Perfectly Amazing Place

Beautiful and Relaxing

This property is quiet with a fabulous beach frontage. We watched whales and dolphins swim by. The pool was perfect. The dogs are friendly and fun. In addition to renting a very nice home, Keith and Sharon are very gracious hosts. They gave us all the privacy we needed, but were also very kind and helpful when we had questions. A very very nice rental experience.

Perfect Trip

We could not have had a better trip to El Pescadero. Sharon and Keith are amazing hosts. They are kind, helpful, wonderful people and they made every effort to make sure that we were were comfortable and happy. The property sits above a perfect stretch of the Pacific a few miles from Cerritos beach. The house and the property are unreal--you can tell Sharon and Keith are both artists as every corner of the space is magical. Two of the other huge highlights are Cassie and Oliver, the sweetest and friendliest dogs that we fell in love with and miss already. Then there are the stars. And the gardens. And the curated piles of rocks that made us really happy. It's just an amazing corner of the earth that is clearly loved and tended to by two wonderful people. If you want peace and quiet, stars and gardens, and the perfect spot to spend time with your important people, then this is it. We feel like we made a connection with the property and with Sharon and Keith and can't wait to come back.

Amazing family stay!

Keith and Sharon have a pretty special place here! There was something for everyone, and they made sure we felt at home and had everything we needed. Baja Beach Getaway is AMAZING!!!!

Beachfront paradise

We spent 9 nights at the casita and had a wonderful time. Keith and Sharon were the best hosts we could ask for. We miss Oliver and Cassie already! The location is perfect, right on the beach in a quite neighbor but not far at all from Pescadero and Todos Santos. Sharon and Keith were extremely helpful coordinating reservations to snorkel and swim with the whale sharks in La Paz and also for dinner reservations at El Mirador - not to be missed! We will definitely be back!

Amazing setting on beach! Wonderful hosts! 10 stars!

All the other reviews ate correct this is a gem! So happy we stayed outside Todos Santos and got to have it all- natures beauty and great food and art galleries just up the road. The beach is beautiful and rarely has anyone in it... Sharon and Keith were great hosts and helped out rescheduling an operator to swim with whale sharks in La Paz (highly recommend you do this) and for a special dinner at El Mirador. We went to do a turtle release at sunset one night and that was very meaningful. They lay their nests right in the beach. Make sure you walk out every night and view the incredible star show. Then turn on the fire pit and enjoy the moon rise. We cooked and grilled and found the kitchen to have everything we needed. Casita was very comfortable. We felt at home. The two dogs were so fun for us we loved the interaction when they happened to be around. We will be returning again soon - an easy trip from the airport - the place sinks us into a relaxed and happy mood. Thank you Sharon and Keith, Oliver and cassie!
